There were many signs, so I arrived at the station without getting lost. Arrival at Sakuragicho subway station. A map. First, I will go to the hotel to leave my luggage. Today we will be staying at Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. It seems like it’s a little far away. It’s about a 5 minute walk.

That’s it! . How many floors does it have? There’s something over there. A train? . Let’s go (^^). When I entered, I saw the former Yokohama Railway history exhibition gallery. Here you can find the 110 class steam locomotive that was actually running when the railway was founded.

Apparently it was used between Shinbashi and Yokohama. It is one of the oldest locomotives in Japan. There’s a passenger car in the back! . Railway monument! . The passenger cars are reproductions of medium-sized passenger cars from the time of the company’s founding. The lights have a retro feel.

My hotel accommodation plan is on the 60th floor or above. Unfortunately, the view seems to be difficult due to the cloudy sky. It feels very luxurious. The inside of the hotel is full of luxury (^^). luggage. I hadn’t had breakfast yet. I’m going to Minato Mirai. here? . The place feels very old.

I looked it up and it turned out to be Dockyard Garden. It is one of the largest stone docks for commercial ships in existence in Japan. It seems that the oldest “Former Yokohama Dock No. 2 Dock” has been restored to pass it on to future generations.

Currently, it is also used as an outdoor space for live performances and other events. Arrived at Minato Mirai. It was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The store I’m heading to now is Cafe Cocktaildo.

There was also an unusual type of porridge. And a great value weekday lunch menu. I’m glad that there are various sets (^^). The tea was jasmine tea. Shrimp porridge set 1510 yen. For fried chicken, I was able to choose between tulip and chicken. Fried chicken comes with plum miso.

And small meat bao (xiao long bao). It contains cilantro, but you can also leave it out. Chinese porridge is made from raw rice, dried oysters, dried scallops, and a whole chicken that is simmered for four hours. There is an atmosphere where a muddy feeling is stewed. Big shrimp! . nice smell ).

I’m glad I was able to drink a lot (^^). Next is a tourist spot in Chinatown. I’m going to Guan Di Temple. Arrived at Yokohama Kanteibyo. It’s a 3 minute walk from the previous store. This is a mausoleum dedicated to Guan Yu, who is famous for the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

A night view typical of Yokohama. Interesting sightseeing boat. I gave up on the night view from my room. Air Cabin is Japan’s first and world’s most advanced urban circulation ropeway. It connects JR Sakuragicho Station and Canal Park in the Shinminato area. Let’s go! . Arrived at the exit. Adult one-way ticket: 1,000 yen.

The store is about 9 minutes walk from Sakuragicho Station. It’s a famous tonkatsu restaurant in Yokohama, so I’m looking forward to it (¨̮).

As for the menu. It’s a tonkatsu restaurant, so tonkatsu is the main thing. There was also fried shrimp.There were also single dishes.Draft beer (small) 660 yen. Great way to pour! . Beer first! . delicious! . I’ve only been sightseeing, but it tastes delicious (^^) I received the salted kelp.

Katsuretsu set meal (fillet cutlet) 1,980 yen. I recommended it to the person at the store (^^). I can see the kitchen from here. It’s breaded and fried after you order it, so it’s freshly fried. Set meals include pickles and rice. Comes with miso soup with clams. Refills of rice and cabbage are OK.

The sauce is a secret sauce that has inherited the same taste since its founding. Vegetables and fruits are carefully simmered for two days. It seems that they let it rest for an additional day to complete it. It’s cut into easy-to-eat pieces (^^). Although it is a fillet, it looks like a thin loin.

The meat is soft and the coating is crispy. The sauce is also not too sweet and has a nice flavor (^^). This area seems to be a fierce battleground for tonkatsu. The best thing about it is the deliciousness (^^). Our strength since our founding in 1928.

The store looks like a high class store. When you step inside, you’ll find friendly customer service. I was able to eat slowly (^^). The tonkatsu restaurant’s miso soup with clams is hearty. Elegant pork cutlet. The pork cutlet was delicious and loved by beach kids (^^). Return to hotel.
