【ベトナム旅行】ホイアン観光のランタン祭り初心者ガイド!世界遺産の街モデルコースで楽しむ旅!|EP.10 Hoi An Tourism and Lantern Festival

Hoi An, a world heritage site that preserves the townscape of the good old days The historic buildings are nostalgic and one of Vietnam’s leading tourist destinations. This time, we will take a walk around Hoi An at night when the lanterns are lit.

A nostalgic and fantastical scenery that feels like you’ve met it somewhere someday. So what exactly are we waiting for? This time I came to the center of trade in central Vietnam. Hoi An is a city with a long and prosperous history and is a World Heritage Site.

Also known as the “Lantern City”, it attracts tourists from all over the world. I will show you how to get to Hoi An. How to access Hoi An The center of Hoi An will be closed to traffic and parking lots at night.

From there, it is common to travel to Hoi An by bus or taxi. Da Nang and Hoi An are approximately 45km apart. Travel time by taxi is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Also, the shuttle bus is convenient. For 4-star and 5-star luxury hotels, Hotels often run shuttle buses.

Please ask the hotel front desk. Now let’s get to the main part I came to Hoi An This is Hoi An please look! Isn’t this lantern so beautiful? Hoi An is the city of lanterns. Here are some notes for Hoi An There are precautions for sightseeing in Hoi An

The first one is a lot of theft. I have a rip-off problem If you take a photo with someone at a shop, you’ll get robbed of your money. The typhoon season runs from June to November every year, so be careful during the rainy season. There are also many suit tailors.

Apparently they make made-to-order suits. It seems like production is fast. Apparently they can tailor the suit and deliver it to your hotel in about an hour. Walking around Hoi An, I would like to stop by a suit shop. What kind of place is it? let’s go

As a port town, it used to conduct trade. Hoi An has expanded its exchanges with Portugal, France, China, and Japan. The old town of Hoi An is now a pedestrian paradise. This is said to be a Japanese town. This is said to be a Japanese town.

It seems that Japanese people originally lived there. Is it where you lived? This is a place where Japanese people came to the area in the 1980s and it became a Japanese town. Now there are foreigners living here, not Japanese people. Now it’s crowded with tourists

There are 300 to 500 Japanese people living in Hoi An. Nihonmachi, a Japanese community, was formed. However, around the 17th century, Japan became increasingly isolated from the rest of the world. Japanese people were prohibited from traveling overseas, and Japanese people left Hoi An. I visited Hoi An to do some trade.

There is a bridge called Raien Bridge built by Japanese people. As of February 2024, restoration work is underway due to its age. However, it seems that construction progress has not been completed at all. It is said that it is not known when it will be completed. beautiful! Awesome~~ Oh my god Wow! !

Beautiful! ! terrible! ! The Thu Bon River flows between Ai Hoi Island and Ai Hoi Island. Boats and lanterns decorated with small lanterns are floating. The water surface shimmers with the light from the opposite bank. amazing Fantastic

The atmosphere of Hoi An’s old town, a world heritage site, changes dramatically between day and night. Let’s walk around the city at night and take photos while lit by lanterns. Colorful lanterns get you excited There are lanterns that look like Japanese festivals. Looks like a festival

You can take a rowboat ride on the Thu Bon River. Many Indians and Koreans wait in line for more than 30 minutes. The fare is 100,000 VND per person, and 200,000 VND for two people. This is a queue Apparently there was a line for over 30 minutes to board the ship.

It dangerous! Will there be a line for more than 30 minutes? The “Lantern Festival” is held in the old city every month on the lunar calendar. On that day, the city lights are turned off, creating a magical world. Today is the lantern festival Lunar day is Lantern Festival day

So there were a lot of Japanese tourists. Today is the day of the lantern festival, so it’s full of tourists. That was lucky It’s a scenery that can only be seen once a month. On the other hand, I would also like to see the usual scenery. There are various shops

What does it feel like on a day when it’s not the Lantern Festival? It will be brighter is lit up Is it better to come when it’s not the Lantern Festival? whichever Both are beautiful and interesting Here it is There is Hoi An Market which is ahead of this.

That side is Hoi An Market. It’s night so the market isn’t empty. Until 6:00pm Morning starts early at 5:00 It is open from dawn before the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. The week before the Lunar New Year is always early. To sell various things To sell various things It looks like a French town

That’s really amazing It really is a city of lanterns. The lantern was different than I imagined. Are there no more lanterns? I thought It’s a surprisingly big city There are many lanterns, and most importantly, there are many shops.

I had heard that it was an old town, so I never expected it to be so crowded. It’s a tourist spot after all. Looks like a French building It’s probably a French building style. Fashionable It looks stylish with a lantern. Yuina-san, it’s dinner. Let’s eat delicious food in Hoi An

It looks like this shop This restaurant is featured in a famous Vietnamese cooking magazine. This is a shop that has been featured on the cover. Isn’t this place famous for Vietnamese food? This is a restaurant where you can eat local gourmet food in Hoi An. I’m really hungry. “SKURA” restaurant

You can try local gourmet food in Hoi An, so let’s go! Let’s go! A delicious and famous restaurant Apparently Shinzo Abe is also coming. Sakura Restaurant There are 3 major cities in Hoi An… Not nutrients There are 3 major local gourmet foods ① White Rose ② Khao Lao ③ Fried Wonton available

There are famous local gourmet dishes Special menu this time You can’t eat unless you apply for twerp. It’s a special menu so let’s try it all. Let’s eat together! I’m looking forward to it! By the way, it seems that cao lao can only be made with Hoi An water.

Does it taste like udon? I’ll enjoy having this eat white rose delicious! ! I wonder what? Isn’t it shrimp? shrimp? Shrimp shumai? Tastes like shrimp shumai Tastes like shrimp shumai Shrimp wonton? Apparently this is something you can only eat in Hoi An. The noodles are a little curly and short. Now that we’re full, let’s walk around Hoi An at night. Try the lantern floating experience Lanterns are sold for about 10,000 to 15,000 vnd.

In recent years, the number of rip-off companies selling toro nagashi has increased, so you need to be careful. put it in a basket and float it on the sea Wow that’s amazing amazing After crossing the bridge, we came to Ai Hong Island.

There are buildings that are bigger than the old town, and the atmosphere of the city changes. There is a night market on this island, so let’s go! I went to the Hoi An night market. There is a night market about 500 meters away so let’s take a look.

Looks like there are a lot of shops so I’m looking forward to it. LET’S GO Wow, that’s amazing! ! Lanterns are amazing! Everything feels like it’s handmade There are various styles such as Western style, Japanese style, Chinese style, etc. That’s amazing I wonder if I can take a photo?

Looks like I can take a photo Do you want to take pictures? Apparently you can take pictures if you pay money. You can take pictures if you pay money Do you want to pay? Shall we pay? Let’s ask how much it is first How much is it?

It’s like 500 yen to take a photo. You can buy 1 minute of shooting time It’s one minute! What do you do? Do you want to do it? Let’s try it Let’s try it It’s a big deal. a! This is not it? Frog! Isn’t it dangerous? Frog! Can you eat frog?

Our meal I’m full because I ate It’s fun to be able to eat while walking. I thought it was amazing when I drank mango juice. The mango juice I drank earlier didn’t have much sweetness. Lastly, I would like to introduce the artisans of the silk workshop in Hoi An.

The old town is also famous for having custom-made suits made. You can see how silk is made in this factory You can see real silkworms Silk is made from thread spewed by silkworms. Silkworms have been domesticated by humans since ancient times and cannot survive on their own. The silkworm turns into a cocoon.

Feed the cocoon so that it grows large, and once it has cocooned, soak it in boiling water. This is how silk threads are made from cocoons. I came to a silk factory This is a factory that handles everything from cocoon to embroidery. That’s polite

If it’s difficult, it will take about 4 months to make. This is detailed and delicate work. Custom-made embroidery is also available.
