予約困難な豪華個室コンパートメント|特急SPACIA Xに乗車
I took Tobu Railway’s limited express SPACIA X. SPACIA X is a new limited express that appeared in July 2023. This time I rode in a compartment and had a relaxing time. Please watch till the end. This is a model exhibition room inside Tobu Shimo-Imaichi Station.
When I got out to the platform, the limited express Spacia of the previous design was about to depart. After a while, SL Taiki came on the line. Unfortunately, I will not be boarding this train. It was my first time seeing a steam locomotive with the naked eye. It’s very impressive! This is impressive…!
A steam locomotive leaves the station, emitting smoke. If I have a chance, I would like to ride this SL. Welcome! have a nice trip! Once again from a different angle. Wow! The sound and power of steam is amazing! Seeing it up close made the steam locomotive even more impressive.
SPACIA X has entered the platform. I was really looking forward to the ride. SPACIA X is cool! This is the route for this time. The train departs from Shimo-Imaichi Station in Tochigi Prefecture and ends at Asakusa Station in Tokyo. Finally, the passenger compartment and cockpit suite are in the same vehicle.
This is car number 6. What kind of room is the compartment? I’m looking forward to it! Open the door of the reserved private room! It’s a nice room with a very calming feel. The sofas are facing each other like this.
To use the cafe, you will need to scan the QR code and make a reservation for the specified time. There are two lights in the private room and a power source so you can charge your batteries. The windows are hexagonal. It’s rare. This is also a hexagon.
The tables in the private rooms are foldable and can be unfolded like this. When the reserved time arrived, I went to the cockpit lounge where there was a cafe. I thought it might be a good idea to ride in the cockpit lounge next time. There was a luggage storage space inside the train.
Wash basin. Toilets for disabled people. It’s very spacious. Back to the room, it’s time for lunch. AMBER ALE (limited time) craft coffee that I bought at the cafe . NIKKO LAGER sake lees butter sandwich. A set of 3 bite-sized yokan that I bought as a souvenir. Spacia X limited package.
Spacia X Nikko buried treasure bento that I bought at the station before boarding. By the way, the price was 3000 yen. Comes with a golden spoon and knife. 😄The contents of the bento are two types of sushi: chirashi sushi and trout sushi.
Should I use a knife? Is it okay to just eat it with a spoon? There were also shiitake mushrooms and kanpyo in the chirashi sushi. Chirashi sushi is a dish that uses kinshi tamago and trout rice flour. The trout sushi was moist and delicious! NIKKO LAGER is refreshing and easy to drink.
The moment you drink AMBER ALE, a soft strawberry scent spreads in your mouth. Coffee has a refreshing taste. I had the rest with a butter sandwich. I enjoyed the view from the train window in my private room.
Premium seats are arranged in a row of 2 seats and 1 seat. The seats looked like this. The standard sheet looks like this. There is only one cockpit suite, so reservations are difficult.
There were only 4 compartments on board this time. I was so happy that I was finally able to make a reservation. The box seats in the semi-private room were also full. If you’re traveling alone, a standard seat might be fine. I would also like to try the cockpit lounge. Premium seats are spacious.
I was in a hurry when shopping at the cafe. 😅Heating adjustment is a button. There are only standard and strong options. I would like to eat a sake lees butter sandwich. that? I can’t open the bag… I’ll have a butter sandwich.
It had a slight scent of sake lees, but it wasn’t too sweet and was delicious. Time passed quickly and the trip was nearing its end. I could see the Sky Tree from the train window. Pass through the Sumida River to Asakusa Station, the final stop.
It’s a shame to say goodbye to the compartment. Finally, take a look at the cockpit suite from the outside. SPACIA X seen from the front I want to ride SPACIA X again! Exit the Asakusa station ticket gate. Leaving Tobu Asakusa Station. The familiar Sensoji Temple is always crowded with tourists.
