Hello! This is E-Ma. This is the second part of Day 1 of our 2-day 1-night trip to Atami. In the previous video, we are eating while walking around Atami Ekimae shopping street. Please take a look at them as well (´ー｀). The rain has become quite light.

We will go sightseeing around the hot spring town of Atami. I will take a walk to the hotel where I will be staying (*’▽’). Long ago, hot springs bubbled up from the sea in Atami. It was called “Atsuumigasaki” because all the seawater turned into boiling water.

It seems that it changed and came to be called “Atami”. Atami has been a hot spring area for a very long time. In this city area, there is a hot spring called ” Atami Nanayu”. I would like to visit the seven hot springs (´ー｀). “Nonaka no Yu”.

It is said that in this area, hot water bubbled up in the mud, and when you poked it with a walking stick, it would come out. Even so, it’s amazingly steamy (*_*). Touring the seven hot springs, I head to the next location while looking at the map.

I ended up in an alley like this. Stroll around Atami. I like this kind of road (´ー｀). It seems to have appeared next to a shrine. Camphor tree, a natural monument. [Yumae Shrine]. Let’s go visit. It was founded in 749.

The enshrined deity is Sukunabiko-na-no-kami, who is said to be the god of hot springs and medicine. It is said that Sukuhikomakami was the model for Issunboshi. “Oyuma Intermittent Spring”. It seems that hot springs were actively gushing out in the past, but the gushing has gradually weakened.

Currently, it has been maintained as a cultural property designated by Atami City, and hot water is artificially spewed out every four minutes. “The birthplace of long distance calling.” There was a telephone booth like this quietly next to the large bath. “Ozawa no Yu”. There are a lot of people gathered here.

It is said that you can make steamed eggs using the high-temperature steam that is gushing out here. I saw information that there is a shop nearby that sells eggs… The shop was closed (´；ω；`). “Buro no Yu/Mizu no Yu.”

In the past, “furo-no-yu” used to have a lot of steam coming out of it, so it was used to heat sake and steam steamed buns for sale. The nearby “Mizunayu” is said to have a lower temperature and contain less salt than other hot springs. “Seizaemon no Yu”.

This is a geyser located at the bottom of the hill. It is said that the name came from the fact that once upon a time, a farmer named Seizaemon fell into this hot water pot and died while riding his horse. “Kawarayu”.

In the past, this place was used as a bathhouse where villagers could freely take a bath. It is said that it was called “Kawarayu” because the roof of the bathroom was “tiled.” “Sajiro no Yu/Menoyu”.

It is said that it got this name because it was once located in the residence of a man named Sajiro. It was also called “eye bath” because it was said to be effective against eye diseases. Atami seven hot springs. All of them have come around (´ー｀).

I would like to go to the hotel early and take a relaxing hot spring bath, but… I’ll have a little fun (ﾟ∀ﾟ). [Yushima Game Center]. You can play target shooting and smart ball. Let’s start with the smart ball. 15 balls 500 yen.

If you place three balls in the hole in a straight line, you will receive a prize. It’s hard to fit in (;´･ω･). Has entered! reach! It doesn’t fit at all (>_<). The store clerk gave me some advice (*'▽') because I couldn't get in too much !ヾ(≧▽≦)ﾉ. It's triple reach (*'▽'). Oh! ! ! No matter where you go next, you'll get it, but there are only two balls left (;・∀・). Spray on this one ball! I enteredヾ(≧▽≦)ﾉ. You can get a beckoning cat figurine as a prize (*'▽'). Next is shooting. 8 bullets 500 yen. If you score 5 points or more, you will receive a prize. Get 1 point(*'▽'). Next, I'll aim for two points. I hit it again (*'▽'). The third shot was a miss (;´･ω･). The fourth shot also aimed for two points. It's quite a hit rate (￣▽￣). 5th shot. If it doesn't fall, you won't get any points. Too bad (>_<). 6th shot. I lost 2 points, so I got 4 points (*'▽'). I got 1 point on the 9th shot. I took it off in the end. You still get 10 points! It was the first time for both of us to play smart ball and target shooting. Both were able to get prizes. I enjoyed it more than I expected (´ー｀). I left Yushima Amusement Park and came to the seaside. The rain has stopped, but the sun still looks good on the sea (´・ω・). The sea looks lonely on a cloudy day. [Atami Moon Terrace]. I think it's a great view if the weather is good. E-Ma's handprint ( *´艸｀). We arrived at the hotel. [Livemax Resort Atami Ocean]. Room wear is provided in the room, but you can also rent a yukata. Room 306. Let's enter! This is a new hotel that opened in 2021 and is very beautiful (´ー｀). There were even socks. Room wear is separate type. Full of amenities. There are even bathrobes (´ー｀). A towel is included in the bag that you can take to the public bath. This is the shower room. And on the balcony there is a hot spring open-air bath ヾ(≧▽≦)ﾉ. It's great that the room has an open-air bath (*'▽'). There is almost no view from inside the room. It may not be suitable for people who care about the view. Since this is a special hot spring trip, I would like to spend some time relaxing at the hotel today. You can soothe your daily fatigue in the large public bath (´ー｀). Dinner is a buffet. There were so many items that I couldn't eat them all (; ･`д･´). I ate my fill (^▽^;). I take a hot spring bath before going to bed. Happiness~♡.
