【歴史じっくり紀行】OSHIRO vol.62 久野城 静岡県袋井市にある豊臣秀吉の恩人である松下之綱の城を訪れた!!【ゆっくり解説】【お城巡り】【日本観光】【vlog】

Welcome to OSHIRO Channel. My name is Yoshimoto Imagawa. He was a Sengoku daimyo who was active during the Sengoku period. It seems that China also had a Sengoku period, but Japan also had a Sengoku period.

The Sengoku period in Japan was from the end of the 15th century to the end of the 16th century. In Japan, the shogun family, where wars broke out due to a group of military commanders, was the Japanese government at the time, which was in turmoil due to a dispute over family succession.

The authority of the Ashikaga Shogun family was lost. The orders did not reach the countryside and war broke out. Our Imagawa family is an official daimyo family appointed as Shugo daimyo by the Ashikaga Shogun family.

If you follow the family tree, you can trace the lineage back to the Ashikaga family, which is a prestigious family. I ruled over the three provinces of Suruga, Totomi, and Mikawa, and as the best bowman on the coast, I was admired by the surrounding powers.

That’s all for self-introduction. Without further ado, let’s take a quiz. The question this time is: Who is the lord of Kuno Castle? 1 Munenaka Kuno 2 Ieyasu Tokugawa 3 Ujishige Hojo 4 Motonobu Okabe The correct answer will be revealed in the program. hello everyone. Today I went to visit the castle again.

The place I visited today is Kuno Castle in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Let’s go right away. Kuno Castle was built in 1492. This is a castle whose main castle is located on the top of a mountain at an altitude of 34 meters.

It was built by a person named Munetaka Kuno. Munetaka Kuno served Yoshitada Imagawa and Ujichika Imagawa. Ujichika Imagawa is the father of Yoshimoto Imagawa. Kuno Castle was also called Zao Castle because of the presence of Zao Gongen Shrine. Zao Gongen is the principal image of Shugendo, Japan’s unique form of mountain Buddhism.

Zao Gongen is a transformed form of Shakyamuni Buddha, Senju Kanzeon Bodhisattva, and Maitreya Bodhisattva. The Imagawa clan came to an end during the reign of Ujizane Imagawa, who succeeded Yoshimoto Imagawa. It will be attacked from both sides by Tokugawa and Takeda. The last castle that Ujima Imagawa based on was Kakegawa Castle.

In order to repay Imagawa’s kindness, Muneyoshi Kuno, the head of the family at the time, holed up in Kuno Castle and attacked the Tokugawa army. Ieyasu sent his vassals to persuade Kuno Castle. It is only a matter of time before Imagawa dies. Munenori Kuno decided to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Takeda Shingen approached Tokugawa Ieyasu to attack Imagawa, but he broke the agreement and began to show signs of invading Tokugawa territory. Although the Kuno clan was invited by Takeda, he did not defect to Takeda and became a vassal of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Also, Imagawa Ujimasa, whose Kakegawa Castle is being attacked by Tokugawa Ieyasu, is also recruiting Kuno Munenoshi. The condition was that if he went to Imagawa and defeated Tokugawa Ieyasu, he would be given the entire province of Enshu, but Munenoshi Kuno sided with Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Later, after the Odawara conquest, the Tokugawa family moved to the Kanto region. Mr. Kuno headed to the Kanto region with Ieyasu Tokugawa and moved to Shimousa Sakura. After the Kuno clan transferred Kuno Castle, Toyotomi’s vassal Matsushita Yutsuna became the castle’s lord.

In 1603, when Tokugawa Ieyasu established the Edo Shogunate, the Kuno clan returned to Kuno Castle. In 1619, Tokugawa Ieyasu’s nephew Ujishige Hojo became the last lord of Kuno Castle. What kind of person is Ujishige Hojo? She was the fourth son of Masanao Hoshina, and her mother was Ieyasu Tokugawa’s half-sister.

In 1611, he was adopted by Ujikatsu Hojo, the grandson of Tsunari Hojo, a member of the Gohojo clan. During the Osaka Winter Siege, he belonged to Yasukatsu Sakakibara and seems to have been in charge of defending Okazaki Castle.

Although he is the nephew of Ujishige Hojo and Ieyasu Tokugawa, he is actually named Kaiyoshi. It appears that they had five children, all of whom were girls. As a result, the Hojo family became extinct. Kuno Castle was abandoned in 1644.

Everyone. How are you doing? I’m sure the Kuno Castle tour will continue, but I’ll just have to answer the quiz. Let me state the problem again. Who served as the lord of Kuno Castle? 1 Munenaka Kuno 2 Ieyasu Tokugawa 3 Ujishige Hojo 4 Motonobu

Okabe The answer is 3 Ujishige Hojo. As explained in the video, Ujishige Hojo is Ieyasu’s nephew. Munenaka Kuno, number 1, was the first head of the Kuno clan. He served Minamoto no Sanetomo, the third shogun of the Kamakura shogunate, and was the person who defeated Yoshimaori Wada’s rebellion.

As a reward, he was given the territory of Kunosho. He was a person from the Kamakura period in 1213. The castle’s builder, Munetaka Kuno, is of course a descendant of the founder, Munenaka Kuno. Motonobu Okabe from 4 is one of my favorite military commanders.

After the Imagawa clan fell, he apparently served the Takeda clan, but I gave Motonobu’s “moto” character. It seems that the character “Shin” was given to him by Takeda Shingen. Oops, looks like I stayed too long. Everyone. Enjoy the rest of your time touring the castle. Then be a master.

Thank you for watching until the end. How was your visit to the castle today? Please take this opportunity to subscribe to the channel and hit the high rating button. Our next castle tour will be Edo Castle in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. It’s the Imperial Palace. Please look forward to it.
