Feel the essence of Edo🥷at capsule hotel in Tokyo⛩️, Japan | near Asakusa station
I experienced “Edo” at a cabin-type capsule hotel in Asakusa, Tokyo! Today I’m heading to Asakusa. 2 minute walk from Asakusa Station ! It is also very close to the famous tourist destinations Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. I’m planning to go to Sensoji Temple at night, so please look forward to the second half!
This channel will continue to introduce unique hotel room tours and surrounding sightseeing as a set, so we would be happy if you could subscribe to the channel! It’s a 2-minute walk today, so I’ll arrive soon. It’s here! Resol Poshtel Tokyo Asakusa.
It’s a great base for sightseeing, as you can rent out the block alone and use it in groups and families! Let’s dive right in! This is a bicycle rental service. Accommodation costs are reasonable. Hello! Check in first. The interior is Japanese-style, with a calm and modern atmosphere that is very nice.
Foreign currency exchange machine. Room wear can be rented for a fee. I want to relax, so I’ll come and borrow it later. This is rare! It’s a compression bag. If you can compress your clothes, you can buy a bunch of souvenirs to take home. Leave your large suitcase here.
I’ll head to my room right away. My room is on the second floor. It’s on the same floor as the living lobby, so let’s stop by first. What is that! ? Japanese mask! ! It’s called a “Omen.” And I’m also concerned about this.
Although it is no longer visible, guests are writing messages on the map! There are many different languages. In fact, this channel is accessed from all over the world, so I receive comments in various languages. So I’m going to promote my channel. (lol)
I’ll put it up as a souvenir. If you have a chance to go to this hotel, please try it out. Let’s go to the living lobby. What a wonderful atmosphere! Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, kimonos, and tatami mats make this a truly Japanese lobby. This is the free drink corner!
There is also a microwave, water server, ice, etc. Of course, everything is free. I’m going to have a cup of coffee and relax for a while. Apparently, this lounge was created with a decoration theme that lets you feel the culture of the Edo period.
Although it is an artificial flower, the cherry blossoms are beautiful. I don’t know what book it is, but the cover is stylish. I passed by several times during my stay, and there were always guests, making it a popular space. Now that I’ve finished my coffee, let’s go to the cabin area!
The room key is a security card. It’s very quiet once you step inside. It’s here. Beep here too! Wow! What is this! Fantastic. The room number plate looks like moonlight. Let’s take a look inside! Oh, the wallpaper is stylish! ! It’s Japanese. It’s also spacious enough. Is there storage under the bed?
The light turned on automatically. Close the curtains. There was also a roll screen. It’s good to have two layers. The ceiling is high so it feels spacious. There is no feeling of pressure. This looks like a comforter. It’s fun to curl up. This is a thick futon.
There is a power outlet and a USB connector at the bedside . Here is the light switch. It was also possible to dim the light. There is also a pinpoint bedside light and an emergency flashlight for peace of mind. What’s this. It looks like a valuables box.
It contained A4 size files, so it seems like it could fit a small laptop. Lock with dial! Having the box next to my body gives me a great sense of security. (lol) Let’s take a look at the amenity bag. Slippers for indoor use. I love the feel of this shoe.
And then there are the towels. It’s a toothbrush. It’s simple, but it has all the necessary items! I was curious, but the wall on this side seems to have a soundproofing effect. There doesn’t seem to be one here. I’ll go to the common area.
The sink, shower room, coin laundry, and toilet are on the same floor. There seem to be enough sinks. It’s very clean. Check the dryer. This is the shower room. How about? It seems like no one is using it now. It’s very clean here too.
Each room is securely locked and has a large changing area, making it easy to enter. It’s spacious inside and has two shower heads. There is also a space to sit for a while. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are of course provided.
As soon as I exit the shower room, I can see the sink. Razors, cotton swabs, combs and toothbrushes. The amenities are perfect. This mark is a laundry! There are two washing machines and two dryers . The detergent is added automatically, which is convenient. Laundry facilities are very important for long-term stays!
Well, I’m getting hungry now. It’s raining, but let’s head out to Asakusa! I’ve never been here when the weather is bad, so I’m looking forward to seeing Sensoji in the rain. It’s a popular spot, so the area is always crowded, but it might be empty today. Let’s go to battle!
It’s raining a lot! It was a stylish signboard when I saw it at night. See you later! It’s also lit up, so it’s easy to see for those checking in at night. The streets here were nice to have a roof.
There are many restaurants around here to eat, so it’s hard to find one. First, let’s go to Sensoji Temple. The lighting is beautiful! ! ! This is truly a popular photo spot. Actually, did you know that there is a dragon sculpture at the bottom of this place?
Sorry for the moment. I didn’t notice it when taking the photo. Next time I have a chance, I’ll take a proper photo. Let’s head to Sensoji Temple via Nakamise Street. Most of the shops are closed, but thanks to that, I learned that there are pictures drawn on the shutters.
It is said to be called “Asakusa Emaki” where traditional events are held every season. It’s valuable because you can only see it after the store closes! This is a large two-story gate in front of the main hall of Sensoji Temple. It is called Hozomon. This is the five-storied pagoda
The “Genban Issai Kyo”, an important cultural property, is stored on the second floor of this Hozomon gate . The statue on the right side of the gate is an Ungyo statue. He has an angry expression with his mouth closed.
The statue on the left side of the gate is Agyo. He has an open mouth and an angry expression. Finally, the main hall came into view. The lighting is divine and very beautiful! Very fantastic and wonderful. Well, this was worth coming in the rain.
There’s a fortune teller! ! I have to do this. Well, what will my fortune be this year? I shake the silver box and draw a ticket. Then, I open the drawer with the same number. Let’s shake! came out! ! number 89 here! Great luck! ! ( Best result😊😊 )
Good news. It was written that traveling would be good. Only in case of the worst result (bad), I will tie here and go home. The result was that traveling is good, which gave me the courage to continue this channel.
I would be happy if you could subscribe to the channel and wait for the next video. The main hall is spectacular. It’s a sacred place, so I turn off my camera and visit. Don’t forget to wash your hands and purify yourself before visiting the shrine. Now let’s find a restaurant to eat.
Let’s eat on Denpoin Street. This is a shopping street lined up in front of the gates of Denpoin, the main temple of Sensoji Temple, built in the mid-Edo period. It’s ramen. Since it is a famous shop, there is usually a line. Let’s do it here!
I’m hungry because the rain has exhausted my energy. I’m excited. Isn’t it the best! has two yolks . rare! It’s like a lucky charm egg. twin eggs. Thank you for the meal! I came back soaking wet, so I decided to take a shower and go to bed.
When I got into the futon, I noticed that it was very comfortable. I think I can sleep well. The soy sauce ramen was delicious. very fulfilling day. good night. Good Morning! It was very quiet and I fell asleep. Well, let’s leave.
It was a good hotel with a very good location, perfect for sightseeing. The beautiful, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere was also appealing. It’s also close to Sensoji Temple, so I think you’ll have a lot of fun if you go there at night when the weather is nice. Thank you for watching until the end!
