【沖縄 伊江島】白砂ビーチで爽快!ブランコを堪能♪城山でお手軽絶景登山も満喫
Hello everyone, this is SANPO GUIDE! Continuing from last time, we are here in Okinawa! This time we’re going to take a ferry from Okinawa Honbu Port and go for a walk on Ie Island. I would like to take a walk in Iejima Island.
Iejima Island is located in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture. Motobu Port in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture, about 30 minutes by ferry.
There are 4 ferry services a day, and the round trip fare is 1,390 yen for adults and 710 yen for children. Vehicles are also allowed on the ferry, though advance reservations and extra fees are required. It is a big ship, so I didn’t feel much turbulence.
If you are lucky, you may see whales. Some passengers said they saw a sea turtle swimming in the water that day. We have arrived at Iejima We have reserved a rental car and would like to explore the island The first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to head to…
Wajii is a spring that has been used by the islanders since ancient times as a source of water for daily life. Wajii is a scenic spot where water from a spring that has been used for daily life by the islanders since ancient times flows toward the sea.
From the observatory, you can see Iheya Island and Izena Island when the weather is good. If you look down at low tide, you can see the point where the spring water is coming out. There are many clouds, but it is a nice view.
In the old days, spring water from here was used for domestic use on the island. Now they live by undersea water supply (Motobu Peninsula). I found a cat in the parking lot! Let’s get a little closer She’s not wearing a collar, but she seems to be used to people. The next stop was…
From mid-April to Golden Week, Iejima Lily Field Park is said to be filled with a million tephra lilies blooming all over the island. I visited here in late February, so the lilies were not in bloom. I came too early in the season. Is sea creatures out and about?
I wanted to see some beautiful flowers in bloom. Next we headed to… Adults ¥500 (¥300 depending on hibiscus blooming) Junior high and high school students ¥200 / elementary school students ¥100 / free for infants and village residents
1,000 varieties of hibiscus, including world’s rare species and Iejima’s original varieties 1,000 kinds of hibiscus are on display. You can buy seedlings and try grafting and cutting classes (reservation required). I have a feeling that this is going to be a good place for insta-viewing. Hibiscus floating on the water is so beautiful!
So many hibiscus blooming in the park Next, I would like to go to a sightseeing spot which is a symbol of Iejima. A rocky mountain 172m above sea level, located slightly east of the center of the island. I would like to climb to the top of the mountain.
Usually it takes about 10 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes for an elderly person to get to the top. The trees are so lush and tropical. If you can climb like this, it looks fine. You can see the stairs ahead. Is this where we start?
Climbing up the stone steps to the top. I’m not getting enough exercise on a regular basis, so I’d like to go without overdoing it. It’s much steeper than I imagined. My legs are getting heavy As we pass through the forest and near the summit, we can see a nice view.
My legs are tired and I want to take a break. But I want to reach the summit as soon as possible. The view is still nice! Finally, we are at the top! I managed to climb to the top in about 10 minutes! Last stop was…
Located in Ie-mura Youth Travel Village where you can enjoy swimming and camping. The most beautiful beach on the island Adult 100yen/child 50yen is required to go to the beach. A beautiful beach is now in sight. The white sand here is said to be 1km long.
There is something on the beach. Let’s go closer! Maybe that’s… It was a huge swing. I’m going to take a ride on it. This is the last walk in Okinawa. Thank you for watching to the end! If you like it Please give us a high rating and subscribe to our channel!
Please look forward to the next installment!
