Finding a Hidden Beach in Suao, Taiwan | 蘇澳台灣兩天一夜

[Music] So friends today we’re at Su’ao. We’re at this B&B called Brighthouse. It’s right on Tofu Cape and we’re just going to explore around. This place is so nice! I love how it looks like a tower… er, lighthouse. And they also serve you tea while you wait. Lotus and goji.

Today we’ll take you on a food and sightseeing adventure around our home base for the night, Brighthouse, located in Su’ao an urban township famous for its seafood restaurants and it’s beautiful but sometimes perilous scenery. Oh oh that’s our hotel. ^_^ Our first stop is one of Su’ao’s many hidden gems a window bunker at the edge of the ocean being right next to Tofu Cape it has a great view of the ocean and serves as a perfect backdrop for photos also frequented by locals as a

Cherished fishing spot. So my friends this is Tofu Cape. This is where you can do a bunch of water activities there’s a water activity building right next to it there’s SUP (stand up paddle) – Whatever that means. [Music] We’re at one of the beaches and it’s such a beautiful scenery there’s

Practically nobody on the beach although this beach is dangerous so you can’t swim in it there’s a really steep drop off right at the shoreline but it’s a beautiful view it looks like something out of like a MMO RPG game!

Where the bleep are we we’re at a cafe in Su’ao – it’s called Poseidon and it’s along a row of cafes this is like the third or fourth one. The view is absolutely crazy. Cafe itself is really cute they offer drinks and

Waffles and we got apple and dragon fruit tea. I like the color, too! It’s like fresh juice – apple and dragon fruit you can’t taste a dragon fruit much because it’s like a light fruit anyways but the apple is really sweet so good try it try it I think this is so

Great we have two levels right a whole level downstairs just as big as the first floor and instead of walking up and down the stairs to make the food and then serve the food there’s like a food elevator just for food that goes up and

Down so I mean in a zombie apocalypse wouldn’t you just hide in that small elevator you know I I think that’s genius for like multiple reasons this is the mocha waffle they have like four different kinds of waffles and they have

Pictures too you know that’s a plus mocha waffle looked the best cuz it has ice cream on top and chocolate everywhere M it’s crunchy all throughout it’s residence in your mouth I like it a little bit chewy too and then it has walnuts on on top so it

Gives it a really nice texture and flavor I like [Music] it so along this road is tons of cafes but we chose this one Poseidon Cafe it was good it was about 320 which is this much and there’s no uh hour that you have to leave not like 60 minutes and

Explore and we found a wrecked car that was left there on the other side of the Ledge the hike isn’t as bad as it seems it’s a it’s a bit of an incline but there’s three or four different types of rope that you can hang on to to get down here and this beach is empty it’s like a beach for

Yourself parts of this beach are climbable there’s ropes on either side it’s beautiful here there’s no one here but it’s dangerous so please if you want to come here be careful if whoever put these ropes on here sees my video we thank you very

Much we’ve conquered this beach 10 out of 10 wood trck again 9.5 out of 10 danger though so be careful yeah that Ro is scary it looks so tiny from here but it’s cry me oh man that was fun scary but fun so

Cute tiny so this is a sue Al’s Bright House it’s situated right on tofu cave it’s beautiful and they also give you afternoon tea which is what we’re getting right now they brought us this cute tea set with ulong tea 30 years something looks great

Yeah so it comes with fruits on the top and then some pudding I think uh crackers and bread and some tea so literally afternoon [Music] tea I didn’t know I spelled I’m not a good wife you know how they used to sell wives back in the day their uh

Attributes were like Beauty and how good of a housewife you were so if you spill the tea you’re not going to get married basically okay I’m going to try these as I thought coffee flavored original original is a bit sweeter than coffee I love the vanilla

Flavor to original things like this one I feel like I have Yu-Gi-Oh cars like blue-eyed oneeyed dragon it is a good bread for tea because it’s a bit dry so you wash it down with tea and it’s like the perfect

There’s a bunch of restaurants on the other side our Lighthouse is behind us I don’t mind walking this is nanfang Al Bridge it collapsed in 2019 because of corrosion and resulted in the death of six people it was rebuilt and opened again in 2022 3

Years after the collapse in hopes to revive the fishing port town of sua so we’re past the port and now we’re walking towards I don’t know it kind of looks like a mini Night Market but it’s just like one Street and there’s some

Shops and vendors and restaurants along here it looks kind of cool they have some specialty swow stuff so I’m going to go look at the shops it’s just dry wow this person is just drying all their fish out here that’s amazing so

Cool so this is a fish market I don’t know if they’re still open but I’m going to go check it out looks fishy fishing my M 580 look it’s a steam ring grabbing them with their bare hands isn’t that oh oh W this is a

Fishing port in Su so of course there’s a fish market the fish market is indoor and it was so fun to just walk around and see what they had most of the sellers had the same around the same thing one or two were different where

They had like dried fish or like a Stingray or a big mahi [Music] mahi so cool so along the port side we were walking and we found this kind of Japanese Fusion Sushi restaurant that’s the name woo something 5 something Sushi we ordered some stuff and they have like an actual sushi bar

With two sushi two Sushi chefs behind the bar creating like all the all the dishes we’re going to go eat so we got the eel bowl and I love eel so I’m excited to try this one it tastes fresh the seasoning is well balanced like it’s not too salty or

Sweet and the fish itself is very soft and it’s cooked to the point where the bones don’t really bother me this one was 350 380 380 this is um teriyaki beef ribs and it comes with look all these side dishes this is honey white hair fish [Music] fried [Music]

There’s no fishy taste whatsoever so much so that it tastes like it’s like breaded KATU but with honey glaze on top that is so damn [Music] good so this is teraki beef I’m going to eat it with some red [Music]

Onion it seems like all the glazes that they put on their food is not Ultra Ultra heavy it’s like a light glaze which I like they give us four side dishes and miso soup this is meno mashed potatoes get some mono in [Music]

There m mono’s not strong at all mayonnaise taste is very strong it’s a little bit on the sweet side I love mashed Potatoes M all these side dishes really balance out the really strong flavors of the onion it’s good now you try every down your alleyway good morning so we’re having breakfast in brigh house and they give you complimentary breakfast I think she just

Told me you can go get your own stuff and then we’re going to bring out a set meal or something like that that’s pretty cool let’s go check out the food it’s very bright in here this early you know this breakfast is probably the cleanest and healthiest complimentary breakfast I’ve seen so far

In Taiwan so you get your own stuff scalling egg pancake turnup cake kimchi and some other stir fried stuff and then they bring you like a whole plate of look how cute this plate is it’s round and and flat and huge like this a

Sandwich with egg and cheese this whatever this is look it’s just like a plain okra and a lot of veggies on the side and then they bring you quartz like juice it’s cute I love it it’s clean and then I got the soy milk it said

Vegetarian no GMO soy milk and then on the side they give you sugar if you want it amazing right I love this well this breakfast I think was very good it’s very healthy nourishing for the soul what I actually it’s it’s probably if I
