【trip】3泊4日で別府、黒川、道後、9ヵ所の温泉を楽しむ旅②
Good morning. As soon as I woke up in the morning, I went to Ruri-no-Yu, an inn near Kurokawa Onsen, and had the hot spring all to myself. It’s a very luxurious wake up. Today, after enjoying the remaining two hot springs on the bathing ticket at Kurokawa Onsen,
We will go to Tsukahara Onsen, which is famous for being one of Japan’s three major medicinal hot springs, and then return to Beppu. For breakfast, I had coffee prepared at the inn and some baked donuts from Yufuin that I bought at Oita Airport yesterday. It’s fluffy and very delicious.
I leave Ruri -no-Yu feeling a little sad but looking forward to my next destination. It was a very comfortable stay. Now, we proceeded along a path full of greenery to Kurokawa Onsen, our second day. We have arrived to enjoy today to the fullest. I’m going down the stairs.
This streetscape is full of the atmosphere unique to a hot spring town, and is very soothing. Since donuts alone didn’t satisfy my hunger, I decided to have an additional breakfast with Shiratamakko. White balls… so cute. . . The atmosphere of the shop feels somewhat Taisho romantic . Very nostalgic atmosphere.
I received the “after-bath shiratama”. The round, chewy and fluffy shiratama balls are made with 100% stone-ground flour from Aso-produced glutinous rice. Let it soak thoroughly in the mitarashi sauce. You can choose two types of shiratama to go with your after-bath shiratama, so
If you come with two or more people, you can enjoy a lot of different things. I finished eating it all in one go. With the Happiness Bathing Note in hand, I headed to the second hot spring. “Yumotoso” is located at the back of Kurokawa Onsen.
Although it was a hot spring located inside a small inn, I was able to feel the Japanese nature with my whole body, and I was very impressed. The atmosphere inside the inn was very nice, so I would like to stay there someday. After all, the scenery is absolutely stunning.
A hot spring surrounded by rocks releases steam that gently envelops you. When you look up, you can see the leaves of the bamboo forest making waves-like sounds. And the sound of the river and hot springs flowing makes you want to stay forever. Depending on the season, you can admire hydrangeas.
It’s the best space. . Highly recommended. Let’s take a short walk while soaking in the afterglow of Yumotoso. I found a hot spring egg. It is an unmanned sale, and you can receive it by putting money in the basket. I feel like I secretly found a treasure. It’s time to laugh
And say goodbye to Kurokawa Onsen. I was so sad to see the beautiful scenery. I’ll come again someday. I got in the car and headed to the third bathing spot. Enjoy driving along the Yamanami Highway. Today, we were greeted by magnificent mountains.
It is said that you can enjoy the scenery in all seasons, but it is wonderful to see the winter trees looking forward to spring. I would like to visit in other seasons as well. Arrived. The third hot spring selected for the Senomoto Kogen Hotel bathing ticket is “Sekkei Hana-no-Yu”.
This hotel is surrounded by nature. You can enjoy hot springs while overlooking the five mountains of Aso. The hot spring is located a little far from the hotel so that you can enjoy the starry sky at night . The last hot spring on the bathing ticket. It’s exciting.
The view of this hot spring is also very beautiful. A feeling of happiness that cannot be expressed in words, as you can feel the majestic nature from deep within. Is this what you mean by blending into nature? The starry sky at night is also very beautiful. .
I would definitely like to go again. I was overwhelmed with emotion as I was able to fully enjoy my bathing bill. Lunch at “Senomoto Chaya” near the Senomoto Hotel. Here you can enjoy Aso’s specialty dishes and country cuisine made with local vegetables.
I had the “dango soup” that I had been curious about since I came to Kyushu. I’m glad it has a lot of vegetables in it. The miso had a very gentle taste, and it was warm and made me feel warm. Dango soup is a specialty of this region, and
Is said to have been eaten in place of rice during times when rice was in short supply. When you hear the word “dango,” you have an image of a round shape, but in reality, it’s flat. This is a trick to make it easier for the flavor to absorb into the soup.
The origin of the name “dango” seems to have come from the fact that when making dango, the dango was left to rest in a round shape . Local cuisine is all dishes that incorporate the love of the area, so the more you research it, the more you’ll enjoy it.
Once your stomach is full, it’s time to leave. Passing through the Yamanami Highway, we will head to Tsukahara Onsen, which is famous for being one of Japan’s top three medicinal hot springs. The sky at the end of December without a single cloud. The sky is blue and clear, and it feels good.
Being able to drive while enjoying this scenery is one of the best parts of traveling to hot springs. We will soon arrive at Tsukahara Onsen. Gradually, the landscape began to resemble a volcano. Tsukahara Onsen, also known as “Japan’s three major acidic springs,” has
A pH of approximately 1.5, which is stronger than lemons and kabosu. What kind of hot spring is it? First, I would like to take a tour of the crater. If you wish to use the family bath, you cannot make a reservation over the phone, so
I think the best way to enjoy the hot springs here is to go to the reception desk first and then tour the crater until your scheduled time. As we climbed the slope, we could see steam gushing out from the mountain. A world of beauty created by nature. It’s very impressive.
I bathed my whole body in the steam that came out and received power from the earth. When the time came, I went to the hot springs. Feel the warmth of the wood. Looks like it’s highly acidic. . The moment I entered the hot spring, I felt a bit tangy, but
It was a very pleasant hot spring. However, I was surprised at how deformed the wall was. You can feel the strength of the acid. As it is said to be a medicinal hot spring, it is also effective against atopic dermatitis, so I highly recommend Tsukahara Onsen. I returned to the city of Beppu.
After returning the car that we took care of for two days, we headed to the hotel where we would be staying for the night. It was a fun drive, so I’m sad to return the car. . On this day, I stayed at AZ HOTEL Oita Beppu Ekimae Branch, which is a wonderful hotel
That costs 4,800 yen per person, including breakfast, and is located near the station. There is also a large public bath near the hotel, so I think you will have a comfortable stay. Just a little room tour The interior of the room gives a calm impression. I think I’ll sleep well. .
All amenities are also available. After exploring the room, go to the izakaya you reserved. Walking through an unfamiliar city at night feels like an adventure and is exciting. The izakaya you are looking for is located straight down this road . This is “Shokudo Raku Tosaka”.
I heard it was a popular restaurant, so I made a reservation about a month in advance. It was very crowded, but thanks to the noren curtains it didn’t bother me. I immediately ordered food. Burikampachi sashimi. It was very meaty and fresh. It’s a big deal, so I’m going to have a luxurious bite.
It’s full of flavor and very delicious. This is Oirijima Oyster. The products are purchased directly from Oirijima, Saeki City, Oita Prefecture. They are so rich and delicious that they are called “miracle oysters.” We ate so many dishes that I can’t even mention them all.
Every menu item is so delicious that you will fall in love with it. “Roasted Oita Wagyu sirloin” So soft that it melts as soon as you put it in your mouth. . When you think of Oita Prefecture, you think of “Tori-ten”. I had the “homemade shio koji chicken tempura”. It’s crispy and delicious.
A luxurious time to have lively conversations while enjoying Oita Prefecture cuisine. It’s also great to choose the restaurants you want to go to in advance and enjoy them at night while traveling. I am very satisfied that I was able to eat delicious food from Oita Prefecture. Lastly,
There is the “Daifuku Ice Beppu Miso Anto” that I had been curious about since I visited the store. No matter how full you are, dessert is a separate meal. . The sweetness of the ice cream and the saltiness of the Beppu miso paste are a perfect match and are delicious.
The mochi part was very firm, so it took two people to hold it down. Today, we enjoyed three hot springs: Yumotoso, Hana no Yu, and Tsukahara Onsen. All of the 6 hot springs I went to yesterday and today have a unique atmosphere and are all very nice.
