Although this hotel is small with 6 floors, it also has a large public bath and a sauna. Please note that the front desk is on the second floor. Now that check-in is complete, I will head to my room. This room is on the 4th floor. Now, let’s start the room tour.

From our room, we could also see trains arriving and departing from Hakodate Station. All the minimum facilities are available. From now on, we will go around recommended spots in the surrounding area. First,

We will take a stroll through Hakodate Ekimae Yokocho, a shopping street opposite the hotel that is lined with restaurants where you can enjoy the retro Showa era of Hakodate.

As mentioned above, there were various restaurants, but this time we headed to the restaurant “Food Treasure Hokkaido” on the 2nd floor of Hakodate Station to try a recommended menu where you can enjoy alcohol and three kinds of snacks. This is Hokkaido, a treasure trove of food. This time, we will try this menu.

In this way, you can choose your own alcohol, but you will be provided with three types of snacks prepared in advance. This restaurant is located in a station building, so you can eat on your way home from work or before boarding the train.

Next, we will head to Kanamori Shrine, a shrine that is held for a limited time from January to the end of February in the Hakodate Bay Area. This is Kanamori Shrine. You can actually pray at the shrine, which appears suddenly only during the winter.

There was a shop next door where you could eat “gnocchi”, so I went to buy some. This “gnocchi” is especially recommended in winter as it warms you up in cold weather. Next, before returning to the hotel, I would like to introduce you to the illuminations held in the Hakodate Station area.

This “Hakodate Lumi Pop” was held after the coronavirus pandemic, and you can enjoy illuminations with cute colors. By the way, the event period is from the Christmas season to the end of February every year. Now that we’re finally back at the hotel, I’d like to introduce you to some of the other facilities.

Next to the front desk on the second floor, there is a large bath, sauna, and an area where you can use the internet. Then I went back to my room and went to sleep. good night. good morning!

Starting early in the morning, we started walking around Hakodate Morning Market looking for places to eat. As expected, the morning market. Most places to eat are still closed, but they are already selling seafood and other products. In this way, it was an irresistible bowl of rice for fish lovers.

This is also recommended as it is available for general use. Afterwards, I returned to the hotel before checking out, but the hotel restaurant was on the second floor and was being used by some guests. After that, I checked out safely.

Although it is a small hotel, it is a little-known place to make reservations, so why not try using this hotel as well?
