“This was a photo of a Red-eyed Tree-frog. I had wanted to show the intermediate of a Red-eye opening its eye, and the look of their nictitating membrane. They have this amazingly patterned membrane that covers their eyes during the day. The theory is that this helps in their camouflage, that bright red-eye could be a beacon for predators during the day.” #MyCanonStory
