【trip】3泊4日で別府、黒川、道後、9ヵ所の温泉を楽しむ旅①

Good morning. I got on the first train and arrived at Haneda Airport. Starting today, I’m going on a three-night, four-day trip to Beppu Onsen, Kurokawa Onsen, Dogo Onsen, etc., all the hot springs I can visit. The plane I’m flying

To is Solaseed Air, and I’m excited to be flying there for the first time in a while. My seat is in the emergency exit row, but I can stretch my legs wide and it’s very comfortable. In case of an emergency, you must read this: Things to know when evacuating in an emergency.

After checking carefully, enjoy your flight to the fullest. Shortly after takeoff, the sun also seemed to wake up. The scenery was great and it was great. Just checking out the in-flight sales is cute and soothing. From the service drink menu, I chose the Agoyuzu soup. Enjoy a soothing moment with

The soft aroma of yuzu and the gentle flavor of the chin soup stock. very delicious. Arrived at Oita Airport, Onsen Prefecture. I wanted to take a look at this footbath, but it was out of business hours. Unfortunately, I reconsidered and bought breakfast at this cafe.

I woke up at 4am and haven’t eaten anything so I’m hungry. I found Yufuin donuts that looked delicious. I bought a hot sandwich and Yufuin donuts for a snack. They were freshly made and delicious. Once your stomach is full, it’s time to leave.

Board the airliner and head to the sightseeing port (Beppu Transportation Center). The view from the bus was very beautiful. It’s as if the blue ocean is welcoming us. Arrive at the tourist port (Beppu Transportation Center). We rented a reserved rental car and started sightseeing in Beppu.

The weather is nice and I feel really good. As expected from a hot spring town. It’s steamy. We arrived at our first destination. This is “Hyotan Onsen”. Yuutake, a unique bamboo hot spring cooling device, cools the hot spring water without diluting it, allowing you to enjoy 100% pure hot spring water.

That’s amazing technology. Now, let’s head to the hot springs. This time, I reserved a “family bath”. As I went down the stairs, I could hear the sound of the hot springs. A room named “Sennin”. When you step inside, you feel like you’ve stepped into an old folk house.

Amenities are also provided, which I appreciate. When I put the coin in the room, the source water started to flow vigorously. I was very moved by the wonderful performance. There was a “steam bath” next to the hot spring. When I looked inside, I saw that there were chairs with steamy steam .

Even after the hot springs have flowed and accumulated, the source water continues to flow slowly and is extremely soothing. I was able to forget about my busy daily life and relax both physically and mentally. After enjoying the hot springs, take a walk around Beppu. Steam is rising from everywhere. It’s very powerful.

Speaking of Beppu, I came to “Kamado Jigoku”, the most famous place on the “Hell Tour”. It’s interesting to see hot springs of various colors gushing out from various places. It was crowded with many tourists. Try drinking hot springs. Not delicious. It is famous for this, but

I found it to be delicious and similar to kombucha. Please try it when you have a chance. This “Nikuman” was also very delicious. That’s all for “Kamado Hell Journey”. I’m hungry, so I’ll have lunch here. This cafe attached to the museum is an open but calming space.

I ordered “Prosciutto Ham with Perilla Genovese from Oita Prefecture” and it came with vegetables, which made me happy. This Genovese also had a good combination of thin noodles and the scent of shiso leaves, and I finished it in an instant. I also had the original hot ginger ale.

The ginger has a strong effect and it is very delicious. After our stomachs were happy and satisfied, we finally headed to the inn where we would be staying for the night. The road we were heading towards was gradually turning green. The Yamanami Highway has been selected as one of Japan’s 100 famous roads.

This road, which connects Yufuin with Minamikomachi, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, has a dynamic and beautiful scenery that cannot be expressed in words. You can enjoy the magnificent scenery at any time of the year, regardless of whether it is spring, summer, fall, or winter.

It is home to leisure spots, hot springs, and delicious highland gourmet food, so many people visit it many times to relieve their daily fatigue. I agree. We took a short break at “Sagiridai”. From an altitude of approximately 680m, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the cityscape of Yufuin.

It is said that you can see a fantastic morning mist in the early morning in winter. Yufudake is in the back. Let’s say hello. We will soon arrive at our accommodation for the day. I arrived at Ruri no Yu, a sister hotel of Hanafugetsu.

Although this is a one-day hot spring facility for adults, there are also rooms where you can stay overnight without meals. This is an inn located in a quiet forest where you can enjoy nature and hot springs. Let’s take a look at the room right away.

A nostalgic space that feels like your grandmother’s house in the countryside. It also comes with a bed that looks comfortable. The view from the room is of nature itself. Now, let’s take a look at the hot springs. This is a weakly alkaline simple hot spring that flows directly from the source.

It feels very luxurious and happy to have this elegant space and the hot springs flowing directly from the source all to yourself. You can also take a bath while enjoying the natural scenery. The compatibility with shoji is very wonderful. We also have cute yukatas available. After taking a look at the

Elegant washroom rooms , it’s finally time to head to Kurokawa Onsen, which takes about 6 minutes by car from the inn, and you can enjoy the natural scenery along the way. When you arrive, first purchase a bath ticket. Kurokawa Onsenkyo considers all 30 inns and the landscape of the countryside

As “one ryokan”, so with one bathing ticket, you can choose from 26 open-air baths to choose from 3 hot springs of your choice, or 3 hot springs of your choice. One of the locations can be used for food, drinks, and souvenirs.

Until the early 1980s, it was a secret hot spring that was not widely known, but thanks to the introduction of a bath ticket and the efforts of the local people, it has become a hot spring resort that is well known throughout the country. It’s a wonderful system. Here is today’s dinner.

Most restaurants in Kurokawa Onsen close early, but this one is open until 8:30 p.m., so it’s a hidden gem. Moreover, it’s very delicious. Actually, I don’t like eel, but it was so tender and went so well with the sauce that I devoured it easily.

The soup has a gentle taste and will warm your heart. I am happy to be filled with delicious food. I once again felt that Japan’s food culture is wonderful. Also, if I can find an eel restaurant, I would like to eat there. I made a small discovery that “eel” is delicious lol

Since it was December, the hot spring village was lit up. It’s very beautiful, so I highly recommend seeing it with your own eyes. The first place to get your bathing ticket is Ikoi Ryokan. Kurokawa Onsen’s only open-air bath that has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 hot springs.

This Japanese-style inn retains the atmosphere of the Showa era, and there are 13 baths, and day-trippers can also enjoy 9 baths. Waterfall baths, Utase baths, box baths, beauty baths, standing baths, etc… I took a bath in the “Tachiyu” and “Beauty baths.” The depth of the “standing bath” is 1m50cm, which

Was thrilling for me, who is 155cm tall, but I held on to the bamboo and enjoyed the extraordinary bathing experience. The Ikoi Ryokan stamp is now attached to your bathing ticket. I’ll go get the other two tomorrow. It’s fun to get stamps this way. Where should I go to the other two places?

This is a pudding that I bought at Senomoto Rest House on the Yamanami Highway. The evening snack I was looking forward to today. Pour in the caramel sauce. It looks delicious . It’s rich and needless to say, it’s delicious. I’m going to have a little lemon sour and take a rest. Today,

We enjoyed three hot springs: “Hyotan Onsen,” “Ruri no Yu,” and “Ikoi Ryokan.” Tomorrow, we will return to Beppu after enjoying Kurokawa Onsen even more. That’s all for my first hot spring diary. I hope to see you in the next video. good night.
