【龍華寺】静岡市 富士山の見える庭園 Japanese Garden Walking Tour
Kanpusan Ryuugeji Temple Mt.Fuji Shizuoka city Ryuge-ji Temple was founded by the founder Nichigon Shonin around 1600. The garden was also built in 1670 based on the idea of Nichigon Shonin. Both were completed over 10 years with donations from the Tokugawa family of the Edo shogunate. Pine tree 360 years old

静岡市の観富山 龍華寺です。ソテツは昔から日本庭園でよく使われていますが、ここまで存在感のある蘇鉄は初めて見ました。日本庭園は木漏れ日の半日蔭が多いのですが、そのソテツのせいもあり、ここは日差しが似合う庭園です。
あと富士山を滅多に見る事がないので、借景で見えた時は感動すら覚えました。富士山が近いだけあって庭石に富士石が沢山使われているのは静岡県ならではと思いました。この様な地域性を見れるのは楽しいです。

An amazing old garden….never saw this garden before, completely still, no tourists, to think of its age…these stones…and the old pine tree bent to the ground, Mount Fuji,
