　 私たち横谷神楽団は、昭和５７年７月横谷小学校校歌開き行事での神楽発表を契機に、昭和５８年春、横谷神楽クラブとして組織的な活動を始め、各地での公演を続けるうち、活動のさらなる発展のため、昭和６０年４月、地域の皆さまのご協力により横谷神楽団として再スタートを切りました。　
現在団員３３人で神楽の伝承に努め、各地の秋祭りやイベントなどで、神楽を奉納している他、横谷子ども神楽クラブに指導をしています。

この神楽は、梶矢神楽団の許しを頂き、その台本を 横谷神楽団で独自に脚本した創作神楽です

■「黒塚」あらすじ
熊野、 那智山の東光坊の高僧、 阿闍梨祐慶大法印（あじゃりゆうけいだいほういん）が剛力と修行の旅の途中、坂東那須野にて、村人から金毛九尾の悪狐の話を聞きつけ、退治しようとしたところ、 女に化けた狐に化かされ、剛力は食われ法印は命からがら逃げました。 その話を聞いた弓の名人、 三浦之介、 上総之介により悪狐は退治されるという物語です
