BUMP OF CHICKEN TOUR Homesick Satellite 2024″ is a large-scale arena tour with 16 performances in 8 cities across Japan. The tour will be held in 2024, the band’s 28th anniversary, and will start from Yokohama on February 11, today, the band’s founding date!
In 2007, when each member of BUMP OF CHICKEN turned 28 years old, they encountered the concept of the “28-year cycle”, and at the turning point of the cycle, an album titled “orbital period” was born, which was strongly influenced by this concept. The album was followed by the “Homesick Satellite” tour in the following year, 2008.
Time flies, and on February 11, 2024, BUMP OF CHICKEN will celebrate its 28th year since its formation, and BUMP OF CHICKEN itself will turn 28 years old, so they decided to do “Homesick Satellite” again.

What is “orbital period”?
This is their 5th album released after 3 and a half years since BUMP OF CHICKEN’s last album “Yggdrasil”. The album was released in 2007.
