We will be here with you now! 😃 Height: 314 m (1030 ft) Friends, I am glad to welcome you all to my YouTube channel “Window to Thailand” Today we will explore with you the TOP 15 amazing places in Bangkok Let’s start our journey from the King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper
1 dollar at the time of shooting – 35 baht 1 euro – 38 baht 1 yuan – 4.88 baht On the ground floor you can try flying in virtual reality from the King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper Here you can leave your things before going up to the observation deck!
You will be asked to take a photo against a green background So that you can later make a photo album of you standing alone on the roof of a skyscraper 🙂 Ride on a supersonic elevator 🙂 I guarantee you that your ears will feel like you climbed Everest :))
49 seconds and you are on a stunning observation deck on the roof of a skyscraper To get to the roof you need to take the escalator Then take the glass elevator Glass transparent floor and 314 m (1,030 ft) under your feet
When entering the transparent glass floor you will be asked to put on special covers for your feet Girls are holding phones in their hands, which is prohibited when on a glass floor! But then the guards came up and asked me to hand over my phones The guards themselves will photograph you later
All of Bangkok at your fingertips! Entrance fee to Wat Arun – 100 baht ($2.92) I think Wat Arun is the most popular temple in Bangkok! Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan or Wat Arun (Thai pronunciation: [wát ʔarun], “Temple of Dawn”)
It is situated on Thonburi on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruṇa, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun Wat Arun is among the best known of Thailand’s landmarks I suggest you take a walk and look at this beauty!
The main feature of Wat Arun is its central prang, which is encrusted with colourful porcelain This is interpreted as a stupa-like pagoda encrusted with coloured faience The height is reported by different sources as between 66.8 m (219 ft) and 86 m (282 ft) The corners are surrounded by four smaller satellite prang
The prang are decorated by shells of Mauritia mauritiana and bits of porcelain, which had previously been used as ballast by boats coming to Bangkok from China
When we get to the other side of the Chao Phraya River you will see Wat Arun from the side and get a better look at the spiers of this temple
Although the temple has existed since at least the 17th century, its distinctive prang (spire) was built in the early 19th century during the reigns of Rama II and Rama III It looks especially beautiful at sunset Amazing place! Chao Phraya Tourist Boat Wat Arun Pier
For 5 baht you will be transported to the other side of the Chao Phraya River Friends, please write in the comments from which country you are watching this video 🙂 And don’t forget to subscribe and like! Let’s swim to the other side of the river 🙂
The ROOF(Rooftop Bar) – a fantastic place to watch the sunset overlooking Wat Arun Taking a Tuk Tuk to Chinatown Taxi Tuk Tuk from The ROOF(Rooftop Bar) to Chinatown 200 baht, maximum 250 baht – $5.84 maximum $7.3 Night walk in Chinatown, Bangkok Bangkok nightlife 🙂 I stayed at this hotel 🙂
Amazing delicious donuts! Remember this place – Pa Tong Go Savoey (MICHELIN Plate) The donuts sticks are available in 2 sets: Small (3 pairs with dipping sauce) – 50 baht – 1,46 dollars Big (7 pairs with dipping sauce) – 80 baht – 2,34 dollars Delicious!
A very colorful and cozy Thai Restaurant not far from Yaowarat Road, Chinatown Romantic atmosphere by the river Daytime atmosphere on Yaowarat Road, Chinatown The squirrel is running along the wires! From Yaowarat Road, Chinatown you can see the King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper where we were at the beginning of the video 🙂
I noticed that in Bangkok there are often homeless people on the streets The shrine is dedicated to Guanyin, in Thailand also known as the Bodhisattva Phra Avalokitesuan The Guanyin images dates to the 12th century. Carved from teak wood in the Tang dynasty art style, it is painted in gold color
With her right hand Guanyin makes the Varada mudra, the gesture of charity or making offerings Worshippers praying to Guanyin offer flowers, burn candles or light incense sticks that they put in a bowl filled with sand Usually the atmosphere is quiet and serene Guanyin at Kuan Yim Shrine
The spire of the temple is visible – Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan (Golden Buddha) Yaowarat Road 9 Nai Ek Roll Noodles Popular and delicious street food Friends, here is the King of all fruits Durian!
I don’t recommend buying already peeled Durian, if you want to feel its real taste, then just buy a whole Durian! The Grand Palace is a complex of temples in the center of Bangkok, Thailand The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782
The King, his court, and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925 King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), resided at the Chitralada Royal Villa and his successor King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) at the Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall, both in the Dusit Palace
But the Grand Palace is still used for official events Several royal ceremonies and state functions are held within the walls of the palace every year The palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand, with over eight million people visiting each year
It’s high season and there are a lot of tourists! Entrance fee 500 baht – $14.61 In addition to the Royal Pantheon and the Phra Si Ratana Chedi, Rama IV also commissioned a model of the Angkor Wat temple in modern day Cambodia
At the time, about half of Cambodia was a vassal state of Siam, and the king wanted to show the people the grandeur that was under Thai rule The small shrine next to the model is one of several memorials to various kings of the Chakri dynasty
The bronze elephants around the memorials are also ‘shrines’ of a sort to the various white elephants who served the Chakri kings The Temple of the Emerald Buddha – You are not allowed to take photos inside! But I will show you the Emerald Buddha from afar! Here is the entrance to the Emerald Buddha
As you can see, there are a lot of people who want to get into the Temple And here is the Emerald Buddha himself! Friends, don’t forget to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss new episodes of Thailand 2024 Enjoying the walk 😃🧡 These are all continuations of Grand Palace
Wat Pho – is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand Wat Pho is located laterally across the street from the Grand Palace Here we will see a huge Reclining Buddha Wat Pho – entrance fee 200 baht – $5.84
The figure is 15 m high and 46 m long, and it is one of the largest Buddha statues in Thailand The reclining Buddha were built by Rama III in 1832 The image of the reclining Buddha represents the entry of Buddha into Nirvana and the end of all reincarnations
The posture of the image is referred to as sihasaiyas, the posture of a sleeping or reclining lion The soles of the feet of the Buddha are 3 m high and 4.5 m long, and inlaid with mother-of-pearl There are 108 bronze bowls in the corridor representing the 108 auspicious characters of Buddha
Visitors may drop coins in these bowls as it is believed to bring good fortune, and it also helps the monks to maintain the Wat Although the reclining Buddha is not a pilgrimage destination, it remains an object of popular piety
An annual celebration for the reclining Buddha is held around the time of the Siamese Songkran or New Year in April, which also helps raise funds for the upkeep of Wat Pho I advise you to set aside a whole day to visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho
Have a nice walk 😃🧡 Look how the roof shimmers in the sun 😃🧡 Sabai Sabai 🙂 Another place I recommend to you with a sunset view of the Wat Arun temple The Maeklong Railway Market is 80 km away from Bangkok The distance from Bangkok is long
Therefore, you definitely need to see whether you need to come here or not 🙂 You can get to this market in various ways One way to get to Maeklong Railway Market is by taxi Taxi round trip approximate price – 1,250 baht ($36.52)
The origin of the Maeklong Railway Market dates back to before the arrival of the train in Thailand When the train track was built in 1905, the market, instead of moving, continued to operate on the track as it does today, more than a century later
The market, which collapses right in front of the moving train and unfolds immediately behind it, did not leave thousands of people indifferent There is a cheaper way to get to this market
Train: If you have a lot of time and prefer to come on your own, the train is a fun and cheap option, but it is difficult and very time-consuming! You need to take the train to Maha Chai, leaving every hour from Wongwien Yai station (15 minutes walk from BTS Wonwien Yai)
Then change stations to Ban Laem (walking and crossing the river by ferry) before finally taking the train to Mae Klong The total journey time is over 3 hours
You can also get to this market by minibus, an option faster than the train and for only 60 baht – 1.75 dollars from Sai Tai Mai one way From Mo Chit for 90 baht – 2.63 dollars
Or you can take an excursion to two places at once: Maeklong Railway Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market This is what the market looks like before the train arrives, the sellers begin to fold their tents 🙂 Please 🙏 be careful!
Afterwards you can walk to the embankment, it is next to the final station Write your opinions about Maeklong Railway Market in the comments 🙂 Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is located about 20 km from Maeklong Railway Market The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is Thailand’s most popular
It can be found in Ratchaburi province, 100 km (62 miles) from Bangkok You can visit the market either on foot or by boat A private boat starts from around 1000 baht ($29.22), this price is negotiable You can take fellow travelers on the boat and then it will be cheaper 🙂 Let’s go!
Along the way you will meet monitor lizard 🙂 No comments … 5 pieces – 100 baht – $2.92 Coconut ice cream – 60 baht – $1.75. A place that evokes mixed feelings…
In this tourist village where you will be brought by boat after the market, you will be greeted by girls with rings on their necks made of two or three dozen heavy brass rings
But in fact, this is all a dummy that you yourself can attach to your neck and take a photo with one of the girls These beautiful girls from Myanmar (Burma)
But one woman here has real rings on her neck and you can see this from the length of her neck and photos of her in her youth! Please 🙏 don’t ride or use animals as a toy 🧡 Another gorgeous place to spend the sunset 🧡 Friends, thank you all for watching! 😃🙏
See you again! 🧡

Amazing, interesting, strange – thank you !
Very good 🫶😃
Your beautiful video was the best.
Btw, a separate video about Wat Arun would be fantastic.
España, el 24 de febrero llegare a Bangkok… muy buen vídeo
A- As usual, your videos are full of details and useful information 👍👍👍
B – I wouldn't waste time to see the market with the train passing through the middle. Both far and not the most interesting thing in the world to see an event that lasts maybe 2 minutes…
C- Seeing it in your video is more than enough, it gives all the information and shows everything in a few minutes.
Thanks
