Viaje METROBUS MB81 PUENTE ALTO BUIN en bus Volare DW9 Fly M. Benz KCTK20 | Ando en Micro

Hello everyone! How are you? My name is ‘Ariel Cruz Pizarro’ and in this episode of ‘Ando en Micro’ we have the trip of the bus ‘Metrobus 81’ from ‘Puente Alto’ to ‘Buin’ in ‘Santiago’ this rural service joins ‘Puente Alto’, ‘ Pirque’, ‘Alto Jahuel’ and ‘Buin’ in a trip that takes about 75 minutes

I am on ‘Avenida Concha y Toro’ with ‘Independencia’ a very important corner in ‘Puente Alto’ because there is the ‘Las Mercedes’ station ‘Line 4’ and is a transfer point, a meeting point for the ‘Metro’ with many bus services , public transport trunk buses, local urban services, collective taxis, and several rural buses

That bring ‘Puente Alto’ closer to other nearby cities in the area. west side, on the side of ‘Plazuela Independencia’ there is a stop for local buses, for the public transport of ‘Santiago’ and in that same area, but on the side the rural buses stop like the bus I’m waiting for

, I arrived early, at 5:30 p.m. so I had a good time to look at the different buses that passed until ‘Metrobus 81’ could arrive towards ‘Buin’ , which has very few schedules at this time although it was a service with a lot of people and frequencies before the health crisis

A little before 6:00 p.m., the ’81’ bus arrived from ‘Buin’ all schedules start in ‘Buin’ so the ‘Puente Alto’ schedule is usually respected but sometimes there are delays, because it is the bus that returns, the bus has to turn around and make the return to start the route

To ‘Pirque’, ‘Alto Jahuel’ and ‘Buin’, which is the trip I want to take with the passengers who are waiting for the same bus It is a ‘Volare’ bus, a subsidiary of ‘Marcopolo’ and the ticket is paid with money , it is $1,100 towards ‘Buin’ at this moment, a little more than 1 dollar it is a high-floor bus, front engine, with seats padded a typical rural bus in ‘Chile’

Also the regional buses are like that for now it’s been years since I took this bus, like 10 years, haha that’s why I also wanted to take it I have nice memories taking the ‘Metrobus 81’ trip it was one of Those routes that I wanted to record

Are that… haha, it is a really nice trip, it is beautiful, we are going to see it . Did you see the trip of the ‘210’ bus? The bus ’81’ starts the route here in ‘Las Mercedes’ quite close to the center of ‘Puente Alto’

‘Puente Alto’ is one of the communes in the southern sector of ‘Santiago’, one of the most populated municipalities in the entire city that It is also a dormitory city, many people travel to other cities from ‘Puente Alto’ to work and at this time of the afternoon the traffic is somewhat chaotic.

At 6 in the afternoon, there are many pedestrians, many people walking through the square or arriving on transport at the main stop. Here is the ‘Plaza de Puente Alto’ which has a lot of commerce, it is the terminal station of the ‘Metro’ of ‘Line 4’

And if ‘Las Mercedes’ was an important transfer point the square is also one, and I believe What is more important is that there are still more people, more buses, more of everything in the square, the bus was left with almost all the seats occupied

And also on the channel there is the video of ‘Line 4’ you can see that line in full with the experience of traveling on it, which is very beautiful, I made a special emphasis on showing the whereabouts of ‘Las Mercedes’ because the original route was longer,

It started at ‘Metro Bellavista de La Florida’, at the intermodal and had a good route through several streets that we will see later in the file but now it is a shortened version and when I came I didn’t know where to take it

, I mean, I knew it left from ‘Las Mercedes’ but ‘Las Mercedes’ where are there several whereabouts, with the video that answer is resolved we are now Going down ‘Avenida Concha y Toro’ goes down quite a bit because we have to leave the city, we have to leave ‘Puente Alto’

Going down is the ‘Amador Donoso’ sports complex of the municipality of ‘Puente Alto’, with soccer fields and tennis ‘Fernando González’ played his farewell match here with ‘Juan Carlos Ferrero’ We cross the ‘Maipo’ river, the famous river that comes from the ‘Andes Mountains’ that originates in the ‘Maipo’ volcano.

There is a lot of life, cities and towns around the river and when we cross we enter ‘Pirque’, which is already outside. The metropolitan area of ’Santiago’ is a populated but rural area, quite interesting. Initially with Spanish rule it was a dry area and had livestock, then there was agriculture with cereal cultivation

And now it stands out for its vineyards, there are many vineyards that we will see on this side From the river we also have a steep rise, the avenue is still called ‘Concha y Toro’ ‘Pirque’ is a bit complex to describe, on the one hand it is obviously rural

And we will see it throughout the trip that we have in this commune, it is a country area, but very, very rural but it is a countryside that has its opulence, that has its resources , there are the vineyards, there are areas that are for simple people

And there are other areas that have palaces like the ‘Palacio Las Majadas’ which is beautiful, there are exclusive areas of plots that have an airfield and a golf course, in other words, there is a fairly large social gradient in ‘Pirque’ ‘Pirque’ is a whole world apart,

And in the upper area we see a parish that is the main church and we are in the center of ‘ Pirque’, center in quotes is the civic center with the municipality, the Carabineros, the banks, some extra services, it is the center of a town where

‘Concha y Toro’ ends, the artery that begins in ‘Metro Baquedano’ as ‘Avenida Vicuña Mackenna’ ‘ which you can see on the ‘210’ bus that goes to ‘Puente Alto’ and we enter ‘Avenida Virginia Subercaseaux’ to the other side it is called ‘Ramón Subercaseaux’ in this area it is part of the history of ‘Pirque’

With the ‘Viña Concha y Toro’, one of the most famous vineyards in ‘Chile’ with its wine production, they even do tours with tastings for tourists ‘Ramón’ and ‘Antonio Subercaseaux’ bought the fields of ‘Pirque’ in 1836 later they would arrive ‘Melchor Concha y Toro’ hence the name of the other avenue

Who married ‘Emiliana Subercaseaux’, daughter of ‘Ramón’ and in 1883 they created the company ‘Viña Concha y Toro’ although they had already been producing wines in this area since years ago there were almost 150 years of vineyards, it is a very summarized version the ‘Subercaseaux’ family

Was one of the most powerful families of those years with companies in many areas and great wealth and some brands of this company are ‘Don Melchor’ ‘Marqués de Casa Concha’ and ‘Casillero del Diablo’ although they have production and vineyards in many valleys not only here in ‘Pirque’

But here is the origin of ‘Viña Concha y Toro’ from this origin, many of these mansions emerge, palaces , farms, haciendas, that is, it was one of the most powerful families in ‘Chile’ that was here in ‘Pirque’ the land was somewhat desert, but through irrigation canals

And with human effort, it was transformed into what It is today and the view of the vineyards is wonderful, haha I love seeing this part of the road, from the ’81’ bus the road is fast, quite fast and there are several smaller roads that go into the fields

That reach other vineyards, other sectors of plots other inhabited sectors there are even farms which is where they have horses towards the end of one of those roads is the vineyard ‘Haras de Pirque’ they have a vineyard and breeding of thoroughbred horses

That is ‘Pirque’, haha, basically, vineyards , fields, plots, things like that, the mansion ‘El Cruceral’ was the home of ‘Virginia Subercaseaux’ a palace, although you can’t see much from here she was the granddaughter of ‘Ramón’ and was the wife of ‘Hernán Prieto’, the first mayor of ‘Pirque’

And I imagine that this is also why he gave the name to the street where we are located beyond this mansion, or this sector of ‘El Cruceral’, a landmark that I did know and that I believe some People from ‘Santiago’ also know that it is a recreational park of ‘Caja Los Andes’,

The compensation funds are social security institutions and several have recreational facilities with swimming pools or vacation spots. This is a very nice park with swimming pools, picnics, the ‘Clarillo’ river passes by, it is beautiful, I was there a couple of times and I really enjoyed this ‘Caja Los Andes’ park.

It makes me nostalgic but also very presently happy to do this ‘Metrobus 81’ route. We have already seen the heart of ‘Puente Alto’, the vineyards of ‘Pirque’, super beautiful landscapes . We are not that far from ‘Santiago’, but it is another different atmosphere. In reality, very different things

And it is a pleasure to be able to share this with you . I say it in the videos, I love traveling by public transport and sharing these things, it is a pleasure. We are now crossing the ‘Clarillo’ river that originates in the mountains, in the ‘Río Clarillo National Park’

There are other buses from ‘Pirque’ that go to that place it is towards the other side of ‘Pirque’, quite far from where we are we don’t see it, but on the other side of the bus is the ‘Clarillo’ intake which can be seen from the bus

And you can also see some of the ‘Maipo’ river. This intake serves to feed other irrigation canals with water from both rivers, mainly from the ‘Maipo’ river, which is the largest river . The bus goes fast, like at 75 km/h according to ‘Waze’ there is not much around here, some lonely houses

But you have to get there and go straight, the road reaches a junction with the ‘Camino Padre Hurtado’ which is ‘Avenida Los Morros’ in ‘ San Bernardo’, we are very far away hahaha super far in the vicinity of this intersection, the ‘Southern Access Highway’ passes

And there are some roads that border the ‘Maipo’ river to access some aggregate works, sand extraction and things like that . ‘Camino Padre Hurtado’, also called ‘Ruta G-45’ here is the first town which is ‘Amanecer Campesino’ I didn’t know it much, it appears on few maps

It is a town or a small area that belongs to the commune of ‘Buin ‘ all we will see now is ‘Buin’, the town where the ‘Metrobus 81’ route ends, it is a fairly large commune around this road, on the banks there are several houses and some businesses, all along the road

Before ‘Transantiago’, and the current public transport system that you can see and learn about in the video ‘Santiago in public transport’, the ‘Metro’ worked separately, and the buses also worked separately , there was no fare integration nor combinations, none of that for the same reason, the ‘Metrobus’ system was created,

The ‘Metro’ had fewer lines and stations, the ‘Metro’ network was smaller, so it was necessary to be able to take people to the ‘Metro’ and for that They created special connection services that are the ‘Metrobus’ buses. There were many ‘Metrobus’ routes, especially around the 90s and 2000s,

One of them is precisely this route of ‘Buin’ and ‘Alto Jahuel’ that reached ‘Bellavista de La Florida’, on ‘Line 5’ and also brought ‘Puente Alto’ closer to ‘Line 5’ when ‘Line 4’ did not exist, now there are very few services of this type

And there is no integrated fare between these buses and the ‘Metro’ That function is now fulfilled by all the normal public transport buses in ‘Santiago’ that is, with your ‘Bip Card’ ticket you can combine with all the buses and the ‘Metro’ except with these rural buses that are paid with coins

. milestones of this area of the road, in addition to several houses we have an extensive area full of vineyards and they are part of the ‘Vina Santa Rita’, which is another famous vineyard that has a park and a beautiful house, it has a hotel and

An Andean museum, it was The place where ‘Paula Jaraquemada’, a character from the history of ‘Chile’, lived is a place that receives several tourists who come on tasting tours and to visit the park, which is beautiful in the good times of ‘Metrobus 81’, tourists arrived by bus to the vineyard

I remember seeing that but with the current frequencies it is quite difficult perhaps later, hopefully precisely ‘Viña Santa Rita’ It is one of the wine brands that they market , famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon strain and next to ‘Viña Santa Rita’ is ‘Alto Jahuel’, which is a town near ‘Buin’,

An obviously rural area, there are about 8,000 people. transportation, they have this bus and there is a service that goes directly to the center of ‘Santiago’ using ‘Los Morros’, ‘Gran Avenida’, well, those buses also fly hahaha, the rural buses fly in ‘Chile’ ‘Alto Jahuel ‘It has several small villas, residences

That I imagine were built for people who work in the vineyards and fruit fields nearby because there are also crops of other fruits. The bus used to make a strange half turn here now it uses the same streets as before, but in a different order

Or at least I remembered it differently, can someone rectify that the reality of ‘Metrobus 81’ refers to a young time, a good time before the health crisis, and also the protests of 2019 era A very good route, with good frequency, very profitable

, it had decent schedules, but with those factors that I mentioned and the lower movement of people after the health crisis, it is a route that is at its minimum, there are 2 buses that are working now at the moment After recording and editing this video,

The tours around ‘Alto Jahuel’ leave some passengers and other people from my memories board, several times I had to travel on the last bus from ‘Buin’ to ‘Puente Alto’ and ‘La Florida’, the reverse direction and the bus was full, all the seats occupied, very lively.

Afterwards the bus passed by the ‘Los Andes’ box and everyone who came from a walk got on, with the coolers the picnic things, the bus was packed, but it was fun and they had to get on because there was no other bus,

It was the last bus and they had to get on no matter what, hahahaha we took the ‘Route G-51’ that takes us to ‘Buin’, to the city if you see a road that It crosses us, it is the ‘Access South Highway’, a road parallel to the ‘Panamericana’ that reaches ‘Puente Alto’, ‘La Granja’.

I fondly remember this ‘Metrobus 81’ both for the times I took it near me house to go to the ‘Metro’ on a trip that we have not seen here because it was in ‘La Florida’ as if due to certain special circumstances, hahaha

I made this trip several times because I was going to see a girlfriend who lived very far away, I arrived at ‘ Buin’ and then I took another bus to ‘Paine’ it took me 3 hours to get to her house, the things that one does, hahahaha nice memories, I had a good time

I don’t think she will see the video, but if she sees it, greetings as she says The saying, what I eat and what I dance, no one can take away from me and I had an incredible time on this ’81’ bus

On the same route. One observation is that there are several houses and condominiums, that is a trend in ‘Buin’ as in ‘Santiago’. ‘There is very little space to build houses, the new houses that are built are on the periphery in the border areas of the communes that are furthest away

And in the case of ‘Buin’ they are outside of ‘Santiago’ we are about 30 km away from the center, ‘Buin’ has grown a lot for that reason people who migrate from ‘Santiago’ to the peripheries, the same thing must happen in other nearby cities

In the middle of the taco, we just saw the ‘Metrotren Rancagua’ train, one of the Chinese trains, pass by ‘SFE’ this part is kind of slow, partly because the road was never designed to have so many cars or so many houses, the bus here passes under the railway tracks

And from this road, from this avenue the station is about 200 meters walking towards There, to the north, the ‘Buin’ station, the only train that stops is the local service ‘Santiago – Rancagua’ that stops at all stations. Now we cross ‘Route 5’, the ‘Panamericana’,

We are in the middle of rush hour in ‘Buin’ ‘ It is noticeable in the slow traffic of the city, this area is the corner of ‘Arturo Prat’ and ‘San Martín’ and has the two main bus stops of ‘Buin’ or at least within what I know are the main ones.

The stop where we are and another stop that is in ‘Plaza San Martín’ where we see some buses ‘Buin – Maipo’ in that position, where is that other bus I took this bus ’81’ to return from ‘Buin’ to ‘Puente Alto’ this square is also called ‘Plaza Nueve Meses’

And those buses that you see go to ‘Santiago’ this part of the journey interested me because I had never done it I had no idea what was next I mean, I wanted come to take the bus to record those nostalgic trips but also to know the complete route

Because I had never gone to the end, hahahaha I know that it happens to many of us when we take buses we do not reach the end and we do not know where it ends or how it is where ends ‘Buin’ as a commune, it has about 100,000 inhabitants

But the commune is very large, I mean, you already saw that ‘Alto Jahuel’ includes those houses on the road that we saw, we passed by the ‘Hospital San Luis’ in ‘Buin’, one of the main health facilities in the commune, although there is another new hospital in ‘Buin’ and ‘Paine’ under construction

And the entire area we see is the center of ‘Buin’, we are not going to go through the square, but all of this is the area central with public services, schools, shops , everything most important in a city and houses, several houses with traditional old architecture

, designs that we see in areas of ‘San Bernardo’ , country areas, some old parts in ‘Santiago’ , in ‘Providencia’ is what we see in the center of ‘Buin’ after ‘Arturo Prat’, we continue in the center of ‘Buin’ but on ‘Ramón Freire’ street

It still caused me amusement, or a certain amount of laughter, the situation, hahaha I took it with humor when I took the bus, I knew that the bus had no return to ‘Puente Alto’ it would reach the end of the route, but I was not sure how I would get back

I am going, without knowing how to get back to my house , hahahaha I wasn’t worried because I have complete confidence in myself, I know that the ‘Ariel’ of the future will solve that and any problem I have because I know that I can make good decisions

And I will deal with whatever there is and whatever, so I was very calm but also expectant to see how I would get back to the house , what kind of adventure would come out of that, what would that trip be like ? We turned onto another street called ‘Manuel Rodríguez’

Which would be the northern limit of the center of ‘Buin’. It is not very noticeable but it is a nice avenue with a grove of trees in the central lane, it is a wide street, it looks pretty before, in those younger days that I was telling you about

There was another variant of the ‘Metrobus 81’ that went another way, went to an area called ‘El Recurso’ and passed through the ‘Buin Zoo’ which is one of the attractions of ‘Buin’, the zoo I took advantage of to bring back to memory

A couple of times I also had to travel on that bus and I arrived at the ‘Buin Zoo’ area and took the ‘Metrotren’ in ‘Buin Zoo’, hahaha passengers, the bus is almost empty, there are 3 passengers left and there would be 2, because I’m coming for a walk, hahaha

It’s not that I needed to travel on the bus or yes, I still needed it, I had been wanting to travel for a long time I had written down the schedules on this bus , I had planned to make the trip but in the end I did it by chance on this occasion

Because I went to do a procedure in the municipality of ‘Puente Alto’ and I left at 5 and there was the bus that left to 6, and I said I’ll wait for it, I’m traveling and I’ll take this trip on the ‘Metrobus 81’ to relive those experiences

And that beautiful trip that we have seen. I thank ‘Rodrigo Acevedo’ for the information he gave me The schedules helped me a lot to take the bus and later I will teach you how to know what time the bus passes. The bus takes ‘Avenida Bajos de Matte’, which is not visible either

But has several bus and taxi services. I mean, while I was watching that I realized that in reality it wouldn’t be that difficult to return as long as there are highly populated areas, there are transportation services, it’s logical , and above all, areas that are well populated with a lot of people.

The bus route goes through condominiums, relatively new houses. I think that in the last 10 or 15 years I don’t know what the urban expansion has been like in ‘Buin’ in time, but I do know that phenomenon of populating ‘Buin’, ‘Paine’, ‘Rancagua ‘ It is something that has been happening in recent years.

I have some people, friends and university classmates who, wanting to buy a house, have come to live in ‘Buin’ and perhaps I am showing their neighborhoods, I have no idea, it could be milestones, the bus It passes by the ‘Buin Municipal Stadium’ and enters a street with a very clear name: ‘Límite Urbano’

The little name, that is, the city reached here at some point but now there are more houses, ‘Buin’ grew and is On the other hand, this town is called ‘Nuevo Buin’. I believe that in a few more decades ‘Buin’ will be attached and integrated into ‘Santiago’

That is, for now the division is the ‘Maipo’ river, but the way things are going and as has been the case in other developed countries, it is a matter of time before ‘Buin’ is integrated into the metropolis of ‘Santiago’. We are finishing the route of ‘Metrobus 81’

That ends at the corner of ‘La Coordinadora’ and ‘Bajos’. de Matte’ that is the end point, or also the starting point. It has been a great trip, great, very beautiful, very nostalgic with a lot of novelty for me, especially in this part of ‘Nuevo Buin’

Which is very far from me home. It’s around 7:15 in the afternoon and I have to figure out how to get back to the house, because I’m on the go, hahaha, very far away is fun, I enjoy those situations because I know how to move

, I know I’m going to get there safely and I enjoy That uncertainty well, the bus finished its route, we have to see the file and as an extra adventure I will tell you how I returned home, which is still a very fun trip and I have to share it.

The unit is a ‘Volare DW9 Fly’ bus with chassis ‘ Mercedes-Benz LO-916 Euro 5’ registered in February 2018, with capacity for 42 passengers, of which there are 31 seats for the public. Previously, when I took this bus, there were ‘Caio Foz’ units and several ‘Busscar Micruss’ buses

That were the usual protagonists of my trips to ‘Buin’ I took several photos, one of them is in ‘Los Héroes del Tiempo’ on a day when I took several photos in ‘Pirque’, I have several adventures I have experienced very funny things a special specimen was this bus ‘Maxibus Astor’, 1313, hahaha

And now the fleet is these ‘Volare’ buses this bus in the photo is from the ‘Metrobus 74’ at the time of recording and editing the trip there are 6 daily schedules and 2 buses working Monday to Friday , hopefully later there will be more schedules and frequencies.

For now, the ‘Facebook’ ‘Metrobus Buin – Puente Alto’ publishes the schedules every week. This is the most up-to-date information. The eliminated section is between Intermodal ‘Bellavista de La Florida’ and ‘Las Mercedes’ the bus left at ‘San Carlos’, turned at ‘Concha y Toro’

And arrived at the same where I took the bus on this trip in the ‘Super Map’, you will also find the route of this bus ’81’ and of the videos on the channel for your enjoyment, all of these videos are presented by my books ‘Corte de Cinta’, ‘Los Héroes del Tiempo’, ‘Bendita Elegancia’

‘Iris the sound of the conch shells’. If you like what I do, you will love my books thanks to ‘Mio Angel’, ‘Matías Pérez’, ‘Ignacio Nachito’ ‘Zezinho’ and ‘Mariano’, members of the channel and also for those who give their ‘Super Thanks’

That day I took the ‘124’ to go to the municipality of ‘Puente Alto’ then the ‘Metrobus 81’ to ‘Buin’ and to return I combined a ‘Buses Paine’ bus with a ‘210’ that I took in ‘Estación Central’, hahaha these These are the tickets that I have,

I think the orange tree is from the ‘Metrobus’, but I’m not sure I traveled almost 100 km by bus that day, hahaha I’m on a ‘Buses Paine’ bus, a bus that goes to ‘Santiago’ a bus’ Inrecar Geminis ‘ made by Chile I could take this bus, or the classic ‘Buin – Maipo’ buses,

Right there we see another ‘Buses Paine’, a ‘Comil Pia’ bus that makes the ‘Paine Paloma’ route, the bus I took to go to ‘Paine’ on those occasions What nostalgia is more of a journey, there are some that go to ‘Huelquén’ others that go to ‘Aculeo’, it’s worth another separate video,

The trip was relaxing, super calm, going on the highway super fast because the bus also flies, hahahaha all these rural buses are runners, I took the bus at 7:45 p.m. and arrived at the ‘San Borja Terminal’ around 8:35 p.m. It took me a little longer than the train, I stayed on the outskirts

That white bus with light blue lines is the ‘Buses Paine’ bus and to get to ‘La Florida’, ‘Puente Alto’, I took the classic ‘210’, an articulated ‘Marcopolo Gran Viale BRT’, with a ‘Volvo’ chassis, I could have traveled by ‘Metro’, it was much faster and safer

But just thinking about all the stairs in ‘Estación Central’ then in ‘Baquedano’, then the combination in ‘Vicente Valdés’ and then other stairs in the station where I was going to get off, I thought about it and it was like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, not

On the ‘210’ I had to grab a seat and stay seated until the end of the trip and that’s it, it was a much more comfortable option with this already I say goodbye, it was quite an adventure that I really thought was worth it, I wanted to travel on the ‘Metrobus 81’

And I wanted to travel so much on the bus that I didn’t mind ending up super far from my house, haha having to make a super long return trip to get back and arriving at my house at cheese time, hahahaha the process of renewing the driver’s license

Became an epic trip, out of nowhere, luckily I was going for a while, haha it doesn’t matter, when there is passion, when there is love, When there is endurance , it doesn’t matter to travel 3 hours to see someone , it doesn’t matter to arrive on Medlar Day after a bus trip.

The happiness of doing something that you love, that fulfills you, that motivates you, is greater. I am in favor of that. Life has to be lived, do things, enjoy what you can enjoy, learn to deal with the things that complicate us or make us sad

And do what you love, what you like, what fills you with joy, a huge hug, that God take care of you and bless you very much and we will see you on more adventures, thanks for tuning in, you are doing well, bye! Ha ha

  7. Hola Ariel.

  20. Que emocionante ese viaje a la chuuuuu. Jeje. No puede salir mal. Fantástico. Te felicito. En Buin lo excitante es caminar.
Es fascinante viajar lejos y saber que alguien te espera, es gratificante.  Bienvenido a la ciudad de Buin.
    Bendiciones!
