1. Uwa Sea cruise and single-hook tuna fishing
On this tour, you will board a chartered boat for a cruise of the Uwa Sea. Enjoy the beautiful scenic vista as you head toward the bluefin tuna breeding grounds. Watch as the tuna are fed, and then try it yourself. Later, the main event is single-hook tuna fishing where one person from the group will take on the challenge of catching tuna! Farmed tuna weighing around 15 kg are strong enough that you might feel like you’ll be pulled right into the ocean.
2. Dynamic tuna cutting show by SABAKI Girls
After returning to port, it’s time to take a photo with the tuna you caught. Later, that very same tuna will be sliced and prepared by the female staff called “SABAKI Girls” right in front of you. During the slicing show, you’ll learn some information about bluefin tuna painstakingly farmed in the Uwa Sea and enjoy a fun quiz. Finally, you can enjoy some freshly-caught tuna with a delicious flavor you’ll only find in such a location.
