Kabu’s trip Good morning everyone! I worked in the morning. Afternoon is off. I arrived at Kitahama Station in Osaka. Today is a weekday. And it’s raining. I go to a very popular cafe. There’s always a line there. However, it is raining today. There are no queues. Can I go to a cafe?

This building was constructed in 1912. Currently it is a traditional British confectionery shop and tea salon. It opens at 11am. I arrived around 11:30. There are 4 groups of people waiting. It serves traditional British afternoon tea, cream tea and sandwiches. I’m wondering what to order. So cute ♡ I waited 25 minutes.

I was in the window seat. happy! It’s black tea. I’ll wait about two minutes. I ordered the sandwich lunch, which is only available on weekdays. Today’s tea is Dimbla. Do you know? It’s my first time. There were two types of sandwiches to choose from.

I have a bacon and cheese toast sandwich. It’s so delicious! There are two types: bacon and cheese, tomato, lettuce, and potato sandwich. That’s a lot! I’m full. And there are desserts too. This is a chocolate berry tart. This is a rich chocolate. And the sourness of the fruit goes really well with it!

There are also lots of tea and take-out sweets. I move on to the next one. I am now going to see Tadao Ando’s architecture. It’s a children’s library. This one. This is a time-specific advance reservation system. The capacity for each session is 100 people. It completely replaces it.

You cannot record videos inside it. But photos are possible. It is divided into 3 floors. All the walls are bookshelves. Also pay attention to the furniture. Very great! There are also books for adults. I had so much fun!

Please take a look! It’s a big green apple! This is also a motif of Tadao Ando. Many old buildings remain in this Kitahama area. So I’ll go through them in order from now on. They are designated as registered tangible cultural properties of Osaka Prefecture. It is a very valuable building.

I like old architecture like that. This building was built in 1927. It has decorations from the Mayan Incan Empire of South America. Inside the building are a cafe, bar, chocolate shop, clothing store, and general store. There is also a nice cafe in the basement. But here I go.

This is a public bar where you can drink whiskey. But there’s also coffee. It has connections with a famous whiskey company in Japan. I want to drink alcohol. But I still have work to do. Recently, Japan has suddenly become cold. So I’m not feeling well. I like this atmosphere.

Did you hear my voice? Isn’t it amazing? lol But I don’t have a sore throat. It’s strange. I want to recover quickly. I’ll move a little. This is the building. There is a cafe on the first floor.

I was planning to go to that cafe, but it was temporarily closed. It is very disappointing. I found an interesting sign. I’m going there. please look! It is very nice! I like this atmosphere. There are two entrances. I will enter the store. my voice is amazing! ! !

The store across the street is also part of the same chain. do you want a meal? Let’s go to the store across the street! I want to eat! So I go to the cafe across the street. What should I eat? It’s like an English house. I like it very much.

That’s too much temptation! I took this seat. This is the menu. There are many types of tea and coffee. What should we order? I ordered afternoon tea. You can choose scones or cake.

Drinks and cake are included for 660 yen including tax. If it is more than that, you will have to pay an additional fee. I go and choose a cake. The inside of the store was connected to a cafe. It’s a raw chocolate tart. And an orange cake. I move.

This is a white chocolate cheesecake and a matcha/strawberry cake. Its staff are very kind. I like it very much! I’ll take pictures while I’m waiting. I had earl gray tea. This is afternoon tea. This is vanilla ice cream. It’s very rich. delicious. It’s a ham and cucumber sandwich.

Look! A bear-shaped cookie! very cute! The scones look delicious too. I spread it generously with clotted cream and jam. It is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Today’s scone was chocolate orange. This is also delicious! And it’s cake. I have to eat this. It’s so big!
