[Music] what you got [Music] there only  the fuel of athletes parari sweat parari   sweat parari sweat is it salty it is a little  minerally and uh has kind of a medicine taste   but it’s uh supposed to be very hydrating and  I’m feeling pumped to go run a marathon this  

80° weather and by Marathon I mean go find  dinner sounds like a good Marathon yeah so   we um got our new hotel we’re in h it’s spelled  h so it looks like Hue but it’s play all right I  

Want to show you guys the room uh no we’ got a  little nap and gotten rehydrated uh this room   was 350 ,000 which is how much uh $14.42 a night  1442 all right you guys ready for this so this  

Is what $14.42 gets you in water and picardi  sweat not included I don’t know why I keep   saying bardi POI PTI POI bardi uh beautiful  mustard yellow almost a on um bed coverings   and pillowcases uh the finest mini fridge with  not not the Coffey in the parari sweat on this  

Side but they got Waters there’s there’s a Red  Bull oh I can finally show you the size of a Red Bull this is a Red Bull it is 250 ml these  taste just like Red Bull we tried one while  

Back but this is the size they come  in we’ve also seen uh Red Bull come   in like a little almost cough syrup  bottle uh at the store and then we got cocacola and this is the hotel’s version  of parari sweat Aquarius isotonic

Drinks and Dan yes Dan is over here too probably  the worst water in America in my opinion and   also the worst water in Vietnam well I think that  comes from the tap Maybe um and then uh they also  

Provide oh so the water pric is uh the mineral  water is 10,000 soft drink so the Coke’s 20,000   beer I guess they have beer too 20,000 noodles  these noodles not free as she said um she didn’t  

Give a price so I’m assuming they’re expensive  they are 20,000 as well ooh and they have 9 and   they have laundry for 30,000 a kg you got 3 in1  coffee which is coffee creamer and sugar um this  

Is the free water which just looks like a water  bottle that’s been filled so not sure how much I   trust that uh got glasses these are not ashtrays  not sure what they are so yeah that’s the mini  

Fridge we got a TV which we have yet to turn on  a fan a nice look at the artwork we got here very uh I want to say 80s retro somewhat uh AC unit  that looks like it’s been in a room that’s been  

Smoked in for quite some [Applause] time uh  a couple of chairs the world’s tiniest desk   it’s l like a kids’s desk like this is the  this is the chair this will be my office for   the next couple days you should Liz for scale  yeah there’s absolutely no way I’m setting my  

Feet under that yeah oh it’s pretty solid wood  yeah it’s not bad it’s probably the best thing   in here instruction wise uh wardrobe with with  all our stuff crammed in so we could do a hotel  

Tour um has a hair dryer and an iron uh house  shoes because you don’t want to wear your shoes   indoors because if you’ve walked around the  streets of Vietnam you know you don’t want to   wear your shoes indoors um I we have learned why  people take off their shoes in Asian countries  

The streets aren’t aren’t the cleanest but  that’s okay so I actually learned that um   America is kind of the Oddball with taking their  shoes off most other countries in the world have   a habit of taking their shoes off at the front  door so we’re just in our American bubble over  

There and I’ve had rich friends and they  they always have you take your shoes off   yeah I think it’s also a status symbol yes  uh and now the moment you’ve been waiting   for the bathroom the bathroom oh you left your  stuff in here we left their stuff in here this  

Is the sink comes with the various assortment of  prob soap soap and soap those are ours comes with these toothbrushes with little tiny toothpaste and a comb most places  come with toothbrushes and a home   we found uh there’s a shower  height check on the shower it

Passes that’s probably the most available plugin  is the plugin in the bathroom so I’ll be running   my CPAP machine out the door here um oh and I  wanted to show you guys this this is how the  

Hot water tanks hook H up with electrical tape  it’s literally uh be wires coming out of the   wall in the bathroom next to the shower and it’s  electrical taped I know we have some electricians   watching I think uh Chris from rockhound  Treasure Hunt he uh is an electrician so  

I’d be kind of curious to see what he thinks  yeah what do you think about this too this   is the switch to turn on the the hot water  tank oh cool thing about these plugs a lot   of these plugs will work as long as you have  switching equipment um that switches between  

220 and 110 this will take a uh Western United  States plug as well as the normal Vietnamese plug so that’s interesting um uh also some  bear wires coming out above the cir that’s   our bathroom window and that’s our bathroom  ceiling tile is that fancy just look up see  

The stars and uh we can’t forget about our  glorious view uh now wait what do you guys   think drop a comment below what do you think  of view in a how much was it $17 night4 $14  

A night apartment or hotel room is you ready  for this I don’t know give him a sec okay to   drop that comment I bet you it’s pretty epic to  be thinking right so epic okay go wow ow I hit myself so this is our view uh it’s  literally other people’s apartment  

But I mean obviously their view is the same  it’s our apartment and then there’s this roof   down here now that roof is open to the sky  where does the water go when it falls on that roof and how about an outfit tour I’m obviously  getting very comfortable here in Vietnam and uh  

Dressing like a Vietnamese Auntie so I’ve got  my plaid shirt mhm and my green elephant pants   mhm and to go with you might need to come in  a little [Music] closer Polka Dot Socks and   all topped with an ony green bucket hat wait  wait wait but there’s more pink and purple

[Music] Crocs you are getting too comfortable yeah so that’s our hotel  room all right so let’s uh go check out   the neighborhood okie dokie it’s always fun  when the menu uh you really can’t understand

I know these words I know boa so we ordered uh  this one which I think is roasted pork spring   rolls maybe I think it’s wrapped in uh rice  paper Okay so pork WRA rice paper and then  

We ordered this which is noodles and spring  rolls I think I don’t know so boom boom is   a rice noodle and Mom is uh fish sauuce is  is like a fish sauce with lime and chilies  

So I’m not I’m thinking that’s Pride I don’t  know come on and uh we got some cold some iced tea that’s good good we just pulled into this  place cuz it’s raining out isolated thunderstorms thank you and how do  how do I do this sorry it’s our first

Time okay so we put some in there okay okay mhm oh this is just to get wet oh it’s like a towel yeah or okay and then so she’s going to show us okay nice lady is  uh actually going to clean her hands first okay oh okay okay so that’s good and then

Here and okay so I [Music] take okay and this mil milk Mom this is miluk  Mom okay and then okay come on come on okay so the sauce it has kind of almost like a jack fruit is  there jack fruit in there it is Jack meat oh okay so it wasn’t the

Instant it’s it’s very different um I’m not sure I’m still I’m still getting  used to eating meat um so like this is some   sort of like pork and it’s very fatty and  I’m not really I’m kind of a weirdo like  

That I don’t like really fatty cets but  um and the sauce I think it is jack fruit   it’s she kind of confirmed it but um it’s  it’s an interesting flavor concoction and   I maybe Charlie should try it and we’ll  see but um I’m going to give it another

B and then this just looks like U  pate and something else and pork with verod so I think it’s complet  yeah it’s completely cold dish F the Nook mom lot of garlic yeah we’re  sharing this so and maybe a little bit more

Chilies and the N mom is probably for that  probably all right I’m going to try one of these rolls For out it is jack fruit you think no where am I what is  the smell it’s meat meat yeah like not meat meat   is the same word for jack fruit in Vietnam me so  in English meat like like car I got to say it in

Spanish yeah okay does somebody  know what that sauce is then I’m   going to have to try it like straight up it smells like kind of a brothy like a bone broth okay that’s the Nook mom you made that spicy  oops shall I take some of those chilies out  

I don’t know it’s fine okay okay all right  let’s finish this up still haven’t tried that though so I I do think the Nook mom is  for that so you might want to like get   a spoon and then get some of the Nook  bomb and or you do you or do it that

Way it’s pretty good what is that just  several different kinds of Pate I think so then it looks like you have  some of the like pork belly too   they’re at the bottom of the screen  the very white meat yeah that’s a

P also a pat okay all right let’s clean this  table I wonder if you put this in those as   well you probably could why not that’s the  cool thing about Vietnamese food is like you   have all the stuff to kind of make your  own potions and concoctions and then you  

Get like chilies and there’s fresh garlic  more chilies so um the world is your oyster here so I wanted to give you guys  a closer look look on um how this   works so there’s like this bed of like  really thick rice paper and then you  

Have this like dry or thin rice paper  and you just kind of press it against   the layer of the thicker Stu and then it  ideally it will with a little bit of help the back like that that’s so cool and then  oops and then you can put your fillings so  

Your greens your meat we even put some Boon  in there the rice noodle and I really like   the Nook mom sauce the jack fruit sauce is  good up by itself but I’m not a fan of it  

Being dipped so and I’m not sure what else is  in it I have a feeling and I want to look it up   that it could be pork blood cuz it does have  an irony taste to it that’s probably what I  

Don’t like it did you notice that kind of an  iron yeah it does have kind of an iron taste too yeah um Charlie is not a fan of  the jack fruit dip I love jack fruit   though yes but the nuok mom is so good and  milk mom is just basically fish sauce and

Spices so one mistake I’ve seen that  Liz is already making is she put down   her wrapper on the already wet uh things  it’s been working for me I think yeah I   think you can do that okay so for me  it makes me pull up a separate one

Yeah I like to shove as many greens as possible  but maybe I’ll add some noodles in this one some fun I don’t know  what these are but they’re fun and then here’s the part  that I haven’t quite perfected but kind of so you can just kind of peel back and

Then beautiful is that that Mom uh so we think we figured out what the  the strange taste in that meal was and   uh it seems it may be uh this plant uh that  when I looked it up it was a chameleon plant  

Not sure if that’s correct but it has this  irony flavor and it’s I don’t know it it   doesn’t work with our pallets very well yeah  the rest of the meal was great yeah it really was is it like pizza yeah Pizza Pizza

[Music] okay he that a similar Pizza  he says it’s Way’s version of pizza ah uh CH oh oh okay uh for okay I’m done I’m man wow 12 12 if you can hear the music  in the background we’re at this   ginormous church and uh there’s  a there’s I think there’s a mass  

Going on right right now uh we’re  filming this before Christmas by the way okay so you guys saw him cooking it so you   saw what the inside looks like  I’ll let you do the first bite okay [Music] cheers

You know if she doesn’t go right away it’s an  interesting flavor it is the farthest thing   from pizza so it’s um it tastes kind of like  a corn tortilla almost I I think it’s rice but   it has like a corn tortilla flavor and then  the tomato sauce is almost like a ketchup but  

It’s like sweet but not in the way ketchup  is sweet um I got to try another bite right sorry yeah I wouldn’t go in immediately  thinking Pizza I think he was just he was  

Just like relating it to a h Pizza all right you  what do you think is it good or is it interesting   it’s not bad it’s not bad but okay it doesn’t  resemble pizza at all to me so it does have  

Like a a slight fishy smell to it doesn’t have  a fishy taste no fishy taste must be the herbs then yeah it’s definitely it’s sweet and it  tastes like a corn tortilla like you said I   think it would Clos more closely resembles  a Mexican pizza from Taco Bell but Mexicans  

Aren’t known for their Pizza I think that’s why  he chose Italy yeah yeah yeah so but like if he   had said uh Mexican pizza and I don’t even  know if they even do that in Mexico I just  

Know from Taco Bell there’s Mexican pizzas but  um then I would be like oh okay bees version mhm this is really good it’s  should have got napkins yeah   it’s got a little tiny bit of cheese on it um but mostly you taste the corn  and the sweet tomato sauce on it  

I think it has dried tomatoes as well and a  green onion it’s really good um I give this a probably 7 and 1/2 out of 10 wow  that’s pretty good yeah I I give   it like a six oh okay well then  I’ll finish it okay okay sounds good check out this car seat
