일반 기차역에서 KTX이음 시종착역으로 변신한 중앙선 안동역

There is a lot of fog around Andong Terminal. 30 minutes after filming at Andong Station, the fog disappeared. hello! Greetings from Andong Station on the Jungang Line today. Some of you may have seen it before, but I also introduced the old Andong Station. The atmosphere is very different from the old Andong Station.
However, it has been more than three years since Shin Andong Station opened. Isn’t it too late to introduce it now? When I introduced the old Andong Station, it was called the new Andong Station. It was the time right before the move. As a result, I finally came to the relocated Andong Station.
Still, I’m glad I saw Shin Andong Station even though it was late. The Andong Station you see now is on December 17, 2020. It has been completed and is still in operation. As you can see in the video, Andong Station is a station built on an overpass.
At first glance, it appears to be an independent train station. Traditional beauty is highlighted here and there Songicheon Stream flows right behind Andong Station. Once you leave Andong Station, Songicheon is as wide as this.
It joins the Nakdong River (once you leave Andong Station, you can see the scenery of the Nakdong River at a glance~) You can also see the signboard that was the symbol of the old Andong Station.
The signboard is attached to the top of the entrance to Andong Station like this (the signboard was taken from the district temple). If you have been using Andong Station for a long time, I think that signboard looks familiar. It’s small inside, but it seems to have everything you need.
Convenience stores, cafes, dedicated waiting rooms, rental car companies, etc. are located within the station. This is the waiting room at Andong Station. The C-shaped chair in the middle is also at Seowonju Station (it seems to be a trend in station buildings these days~)
There is a ticket office and convenience store in the waiting room. Andong City Tour Bus departing from Andong Station This is the fare table for each Andong City Tour bus. You can tour your desired course on any day of the week.
As Andong Station was moved here, Andong Terminal was also connected. Direct transfer is now possible If there is no place to eat near Andong Station, Andong Terminal can also be an alternative. You can go to various areas from Andong Terminal. Be sure to check the destination and departure time before use.
There are high-rise apartments near Andong Station. However, this delicious scenery still remains (Kkokkio~~) There is also a rest area like this in the middle of Andong rural village. There will be plenty of shade from trees in the summer. A pavilion that will become the village’s living room during the summer.
On top of the pavilion, you can see a pillow with a rolled up blanket and a fan (a fan in the middle of winter these days is a bit strange…) There is even a wall-mounted fan on the ceiling!! The Nakdong River runs right behind the village.
At the old Andong Station, you can see the mighty Nakdong River and We could also see the Nakdong River Dam, but this is a plain scenery (for reference, the old Andong Station was transformed into a cultural platform called “Modi 684”) Freight train arriving from Uiseong Station to Andong Station
For reference, there is no tram line in the section after Andong yet. After this, only diesel trains can travel. This is why Andong Station became the starting and ending station for the KTX. However, once the installation of the tram line is completed, KTX will Extended service will be possible beyond Uiseong Station.
Now it’s time for the KTX train to arrive. Toward Seoul is platform 3 and 4, and to Uiseong is platform 1 and 2. The Jungang Line is rapidly introducing double track and high-speed rail. Screen doors have been installed at major stations on the Jungang Line.
Of course, this screen door is only for KTX connection. Along with the double track construction, track gravel disappeared (smooth~) As expected from a KTX station, the waiting room is quite spacious. Mugunghwa train bound for Yeongju entering the platform
Once the tram line is built, it is now time to replace the locomotive at Yeongju Station. The scenery will also disappear (currently electric locomotives are being replaced in Yeongju). Once the tram line is installed, Andong Station will no longer be open.

안동댐탓에 의성&안동지역에 안개가 심해요
가끔 안동역에서 진성의 노래 '안동역에서' 노래가 가끔 들리던데.
기분 탓일까요. 아니면 진짜 틀어주는 걸까요…
의성역 임시역사 철거 어렵는데 🙁 개통 길어요
