Hi, I’m Kaol. This trip is famous instagrammable place in Kagoshima. We are in Tarumizu city, Senbon Ginkgo Garden. As the name suggests, thousands of ginkgo trees have been planted, and they turn golden in the fall foliage season. About 1200 ginkgo trees are planted on 4.5 hectares of land.
In 2023, the fall foliage is a little late due to the warm winter. When I came this time, it was November 23rd. It seems a bit early. Still very nice! The park is so big, I want to see it all! Oh wow! It’s so beautiful! Let’s go around and look at everybody!
Ginkgo nuts have been sold. Of course I bought some and ate them? They were fleshy and very tasty! It’s one of the flavors of fall. Looks like healing hills and happy benches are just ahead. Oh wow! Looks like the foliage is at its peak in this section over here.
Looks like a scene from a movie. Surprisingly, this Senbon Ginkgo Garden is private property. It’s free and open to the public, so you have to behave. It’s beautiful. I’m glad I got up early to come here. The best time to see the fall foliage is from mid-November to early December.
It is also recommended during this season because it is illuminated at night. So this is the lucky bench! It’s true that just sitting on this bench and looking at it seems to make you happy. Because it is so beautiful. Moving on to the next parcel. So much space here!
Just the right time of year to be in Kagoshima. If I had wanted to, I would have come when the leaves were a little more red. But it’s nice enough. It looks like it is lit at night from 18:00 to 21:00.
According to the security guard, it seems to be more crowded at night. I wonder what I should do. To be honest, I’d like to go there at night too. It was so beautiful that I came at night. Oh wow! Very nice atmosphere. Yeah, it’s very crowded. Recommendation is to come early.

とても美しい光景が私を魅了しました。
