[Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel] All-you-can-stay hotel subscription trip! Vol.5

Hello, good evening, welcome to this channel. This time, we are going on a 30-night trip to Tsugi-Tsugi, a nationwide all-you-can-stay subscription service. This is a video from when I stayed at the fifth hotel, Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel. Check out the fourth hotel, The Park Front Hotel At Universal Studios Japan.

I will now head to Kanazawa Station on the Seishun 18 ticket. What kind of trip will it be this time? On this channel, we upload useful information about hotels and living abroad. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, please do so.

At 10:37am, I headed from JR Universal City Station to Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, take the special rapid train departing at 11:15 a.m. and head for Tsuruga Station. Next, I changed trains at Fukui Station, which is famous for dinosaurs, and arrived at Kanazawa Station at 4:40 in the evening.

We arrived at Kanazawa Station about 6 hours after departure. I was hungry after a long journey, so I went to Morimori Sushi, which is very popular in Kanazawa, and enjoyed some delicious sushi from Hokuriku. After that, I went to the large drum gate in front of the station.

Tsuzumimon is a structure that is modeled after Kanazawa’s traditional performing arts, the drum. It was 13.7 meters high, and when you looked at it up close, it was impressive. At night, the Tsuzumimon gate is lit up. On weekdays, the illumination is only one color.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you can see the Tsuzumimon gate lit up in five colors. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes by public bus from the station.

When you get off at the Korinbo bus stop in the center of Kanazawa, the Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel, where you will be staying, is right in front of you. Now let’s enter the hotel. At the entrance are the Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel and Tokyu Vacations logos.

Tokyu Vacations is a resort-type accommodation facility for members located in carefully selected locations nationwide. So I think this hotel is definitely a good place. As soon as you enter the front door, you will see a large golden panel. The reception desk is on the 2nd floor after taking the elevator.

The lights and decorations are shining gold, and the interior of the hotel is typical of Kanazawa. This time’s room was room 1521. Let’s get into it right away. I entered the room. When you first enter, there is a closet on the right. The pattern on the closet door is stylish. Let’s open it.

Three hangers are provided for each. This set includes one hanger for pants and two hangers for jackets. There are 6 hangers in total. There’s a pretty big space underneath where you can put your suitcase. This is what the whole room looks like. The room size is 23 m². It feels spacious for 23㎡.

I’ll introduce you to the area around the bed. There are Japanese-style lights like this. It is a light surrounded by Japanese paper with a pattern drawn on it. Below there are knobs to adjust the light and two outlets.

There is a shelf next to the bed where you can put things, so it’s a good place to charge your phone. Two pillows are provided. This is a slightly firmer memory foam pillow, and the other is a soft cushion-like pillow. There is indirect lighting above the bed, so the room is bright.

This indirect lighting is stylish. Indirect lighting makes the wallpaper pattern stand out. It looks like an ancient Japanese pattern and is very stylish, so I think foreigners like it. I didn’t notice it when the lights were off, but when I turned the lights on, the pattern stood out beautifully. Nightwear is provided.

This is helpful. One piece of gown-type nightwear is provided. A clock is available here. It’s a digital clock that looks like a mirror. This is not only a watch, but also has a USB port so you can charge your mobile phone etc. This is helpful.

There is no USB on the wall, but there is one on the clock, which is helpful. It’s a pain to have to go out of my way to plug in a USB outlet. If you have a USB connection port, you can just plug in the cable, which is helpful.

This one is the same, there are two power sources and a light. There is one more set of power supplies than a normal hotel. There is usually only one power source near the bed.

This bed uses this power source, and the bed in the back has a power source at the end and also in the middle. There are three power sources that can be used at each bedside. And since there’s one USB each, it’s really helpful.

The more outlets there are, the better it will be for travelers. There is a stand light that can be attached with a foot switch. Also look at the top. These traditional Japanese techniques are used in this light as well. The hexagonal light emits a soft light through this Japanese paper-like cloth.

They also have sofas like this, which is very helpful. I just sat down and found it to be quite comfortable. There are sofas and cushions here, so you can relax here. There is also a coffee table in the middle. Two people can relax here while watching TV.

You can relax while looking out the window on the other side. This makes me happy. Let’s also take a look outside the window. Since it was night, I went behind the curtain to take the photo. Apparently Kenrokuen is nearby.

I just entered the room, so I have no idea which way is Kenrokuen or where Kanazawa Castle is. This time, we were given a room on the 15th floor, so we were able to get a good view of the view.

Tomorrow, when it gets light, I will check the surrounding area against the map. I think Tsugi-Tsugi’s rooms are on the 3rd to 6th floors. There is a shelf here. Let’s see what’s inside. This door is stylish, and this knob is also Japanese-style. This looks like it was specially made.

The knob in the middle is something you can find anywhere, but adding this metal fitting gives it a Japanese feel. The surrounding brown wood and the color of this knob match very well. I thought it was a very stylish snack. There is a container inside.

It’s a mug, but it’s also stylish, so I’ll put it down a little. I also fixed the camera, because if I only had one hand, I would be in trouble if I dropped it. It’s a proper piece of pottery, and it’s golden in color.

It might be hard to tell because it’s night time and the lights are shining. It may be a famous pottery. There are also two glasses, which are also stylish. It’s a multi-sided glass, and I think drinking alcohol or juice in it will make it more delicious. There are also two glasses.

And two bottles of Itoen mineral water are included. This is helpful. Let’s see what drinks are included. It’s written as Kaga stick tea, so it seems like it’s a tea limited to the region. I have two Kaga stick teas, so I’ll try them later. Comes with two drip coffees.

This is helpful, as many hotels have instant coffee available. After all, it tastes better when brewed using drip, which is why I like it. So drip coffee is very welcome. It’s coffee creamer. Comes with two teas. There are also two types of sugar. Comes with a muddler.

I will try drinking coffee in this roasted cup later, and I think it will be absolutely delicious. Thank you very much. Sencha and green tea are also included. This is the explanation of the cups and drinks in this shelf. I’ll close it here.

And there is a kettle below, and since it’s Tefal, I think it boils pretty quickly. There is a drawer below. Since the drawer is open, you can store tall items here. I’ll try opening the bottom too. There is a refrigerator, which is also a cool color.

It’s not a typical hotel refrigerator, and instead of having shelves or space for bottles, it has two tiers inside. I wonder if the top is frozen, no, it’s refrigerated. I will also try using this refrigerator. This stand light is quite bright. This is a desk.

The desk is about 45cm deep and 60cm wide. There is a desk where one person works, and there is also a chair. We have chairs like this. There are two sofas in the back, and some chairs come as a set with this table, so there are three chairs in total.

There are also two outlets here. This is a room with quite a lot of electrical outlets. It helps that there are many outlets. It says hair dryer here. It looks like the hair dryer will be used here, and it says 1200W, so it’s a dedicated outlet for the hair dryer.

There is a tissue case here. This tissue case may also be a tissue box made of Japanese paper. I don’t know if what is written here is the brand name or the name of this kind of manufacturing or method. It’s also very stylish as a tissue case. I’ll explain what’s on the desk.

First, I received a one-drink ticket. This time I will stay at Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel for 2 nights. I received a one-drink ticket for two nights. I think the number of tickets you can get varies depending on the hotel.

Last time I stayed for 2 nights at a hotel in front of Universal Studios Japan, I only received 2 tickets. I was told that even if I stayed for 2 nights, it would be 1 ticket per person.

I was wondering what it was like in Kanazawa, but in Kanazawa you can get 2 tickets per night. So I think it varies depending on the hotel. I paid a bathing tax of 400 yen per person. We paid 800 yen for 2 nights for 2 people.

Mishima, Nagoya, and Osaka, where I have stayed at Tsugi-tsugi so far, did not charge a bathing tax, but Kanazawa did. This probably varies by prefecture. I received a map of the area. Tokyu Hotel is here. For example, Kanazawa Castle Park is on the far left, so you can walk there.

This hotel does not have a coin laundry, so you can find one nearby at a bathhouse called Matsunoyu. It seems to take about 10 minutes on foot. If your laundry is piling up, you might want to go to Matsu no Yu. This is a photo of Matsu no Yu. There is a TV.

There’s a storage space underneath here for your luggage. There was a shelf where you could put your luggage. There is a drawer below. It’s spacious enough to store something here. There is a fairly large security box here. This seems to fit a 15 inch computer with ease.

What’s more convenient is that there is a power supply inside. You can charge your computer or cell phone while keeping it in the security box. Air purifiers are also available here. The room looks like this. This is a room where you can feel Kanazawa’s commitment from inside.

The rooms are designed with special attention to detail even when Japanese people stay there. This is a room typical of Kanazawa. These wallpaper patterns. The hexagonal lights I mentioned earlier, and the lights made of washi paper. I also feel that they are particular about the tissue case.

Even the small knobs on the door and the pottery make this room feel special. Next, I will introduce the bath. Now open the bathroom. When you enter the bathroom, the first thing you see is this large mirror. This gives it the appearance of depth and makes it feel very spacious.

And the light from above is very bright. There is also a bright LED on the top, so the bathroom is quite bright. Let’s look down at the sink. There is a fairly large circular wash basin. There are two cups. In this washbasin, you can adjust the water and hot water with a lever.

One face wash and one hand wash are provided. There are two towels here. Two large towels are also available here. One electrical outlet is also provided. The toilet has a washlet. It’s not the latest model of washlet, but it’s enough if it comes with a washlet. There is a bathtub on this side.

The bathtub is large enough to stretch your legs and relax. This bathtub has plenty of length. It also has handrails so you can bathe safely. From the left, the amenities are body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Everything is organic, so it looks like they are using organic products. The shower will be here.

The shower has a good amount of hot water. This is enough. Now let’s take a look at the amenities. Comes with two towels to wash your body with. It also comes with two hairbrushes. Two toothbrushes are also included. It also comes with two mustache sleds. There are also 4 cotton swabs.

There are also two types of cotton. The amenities are above. If you would like any additional amenities, please contact the front desk. If you have any special amenities you want, it might be a good idea to ask. Basic amenities are available. Other hotels come with cosmetics for women, but this one does not.

This is an introduction to the rooms at Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel. That’s all from the room. When I woke up in the morning, I had a light breakfast at a nearby bakery. I then went to Kenrokuen, which is a 7-minute walk from the hotel.

If you also want to visit Kanazawa Castle Park, the Kenrokuen Plus 1 ticket is a good deal. Kenrokuen is one of the three famous gardens in Japan, along with Mito Kairakuen and Okayama Korakuen.

As a representative daimyo garden of the Edo period, it was shaped over many years by successive lords of the Kaga domain. This time I visited in the summer, but the garden offers beautiful scenery in all seasons, so I would like to visit the garden in other seasons as well.

As soon as you leave Kenrokuen and cross the bridge, you will see that what used to be a dugout has now become a road. Kanazawa Castle Park will be immediately on this side. It looks like there are castle ruins.

Since both are close, I think it would be a good idea to buy a set of tickets. Then we will enter Kanazawa Castle Park. The Ishikawa Gate seen here is one of the three main gates of Kanazawa Castle and has been designated as an important cultural property by the country.

The very large and heavy door is a highlight. This is the second gate, the inner gate of Kahoku Gate. The Kahoku Gate is essentially the main gate of Kanazawa Castle, and like the aforementioned Ishikawa Gate, it is called Kanazawa Castle’s Sangomon. You can tour the inside of this second gate.

Noto Hiba, a type of Japanese cypress, is used luxuriously for the walls and floors. As I walked through the park, I saw the Gojikken Nagaya building in front of me.

In addition to being used as a warehouse for storing weapons and other items, it also seems to have served as a castle wall in times of emergency. And this gate is Hashizume-mon, the last three gates of Kanazawa Castle.

It is the main gate of Kanazawa Castle’s Ninomaru, and is considered the most prestigious gate in the castle. After walking around Kanazawa Castle Park, it was time for lunch, so I headed to Omicho Market, a 10-minute walk away. I ate seafood bowl there and returned to the hotel.

When I got back to the hotel, I went straight to the lounge. Use a one-drink ticket. It was very hot outside, so I ordered an iced coffee and they also gave me some raw chocolate. Measure your internet speed. Let’s start. The download speed is 340Mbps, which I think is quite fast.

Upload speed is 275Mbps, which is also quite fast. I think you can use the Internet comfortably. Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel uses tap water drawn from 50 meters underground for drinking water.

It is said that the water has low mineral and calcium hardness, is gentle to drink, and has low carbonation content, making it easy to drink. So it seems like you can use tap water as drinking water. This is helpful because I don’t have to go out of my way to buy water.

It seems like delicious water comes out of the faucet. I checked in yesterday and had some tea after a relaxing night. The tea was delicious, probably because the water is so good. Also, since it was night time, the room was dark and it was hard to see this cup.

When I went to Kenrokuen today, I saw a lot of Kutani ware pottery being sold around the area, so I think it might be a Kutani ware cup. I think it’s a very good device. I didn’t know what was going on outside yesterday, so I’m going to take a look outside now.

The view from the hotel window is like this. I was glad that I was able to go to two places within walking distance from this hotel: Kenrokuen and Kanazawa Castle Park. Afterwards, we ate seafood bowl at Omicho Market. I’ll take another break and go out in the evening when it gets cooler.

That’s all from the room. The Nagamachi samurai residence ruins are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Here you can still see the old earthen walls and stone pavement, as well as the ruins of samurai residences where the former Kaga domain samurai lived.

You can stroll along the cobblestone streets typical of an old castle town. This shop also has a design that blends in with the surrounding scenery and has a nice atmosphere. At night, I walked around the Nagamachi Takeyashiki ruins again. It’s quite dark at night, and there aren’t many people passing each other.

However, it is recommended because you can enjoy the atmosphere of traveling back in time to an earlier era. I want places like this to remain forever. After the walk, we ate a delicious fish set meal at the nearby restaurant “Hana” and returned to the hotel to rest. It’s 9am on August 29th.

I came to Kanazawa and finished 2 nights today and will be checking out today. I would like to share some impressions of my stay. The room was exactly like the photo on this site and very clean. It has two beds and is very spacious. This time we stayed on the 15th floor.

The 16th to 18th floors are occupied by Tokyu Resort, so I think there are suite-like rooms as well. We were given a room on the top floor of the standard floor. I thought the hotel’s location was perfect for those who wanted to go to Kenrokuen and Kanazawa Castle Park.

If you are returning directly to Osaka or Tokyo, a shuttle bus will take you to Kanazawa Station. There are buses departing from the hotel from 8:00 to 15:00, so I think it would be a good idea to use that.

As for public transportation, the bus stop is right in front of the building and comes frequently, so you can take the bus to Kanazawa Station for 200 yen. This hotel is filled with Kanazawa colors. It is unified with the famous Kutani ware pottery around here.

Kanazawa is famous for its gold leaf decorations, so the cushions also had gold lines. This wallpaper also had a pattern that made it feel a bit like the old days. It was a very nice hotel that felt like a typical Kanazawa hotel.

If you have plans to come to Kanazawa again, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Now let’s get ready and check out. So that’s it for this hotel. Excuse me. After this, we will head to our next destination, Toyama Prefecture. Tsugi-Tsugi’s journey continues.
