Spee Spee I first came to shakoko 17 years ago to walk the shoken the Buddhist pilgrimage and it totally changed my life I spent 56 days walking around the island through beautiful nature and meeting wonderful people eating delicious food and going on a path of spiritual experience and it was so
Wonderful I came back and walked it three more times so there’s there’s a term that they have in shoko for people like me it’s called shoko or shoko sickness and people like me want to come back again and again and again and so that’s what we want to give people in
This tour but what I think is really different about this tour that I couldn’t get in my own experience is that because now um we live here and have connections with local people we can go deeper into the culture and we can meet people and we can do very unique experiences and so
That’s why I recommend this Bo I really thought that the steps that we had with first writing the notes and then going through the let’s call it the Labyrinth of the of the temple and doing all these uh different steps was very inspiring especially the water and fire
Part that was very felt very spiritual yes experience of of getting your book signed and showing how beautiful they are doing the drawings and the stamps how much care they put into it is it’s uh I really like that and I think that if somebody wants to do the shoko hro
That they should go to the effort at least to try a couple of temples and make that that experience you’re starting at the first temple you’re going on to the next Temple and it feels like an exploration you feel like you’re kind of on like a quest each Temple is different so
There’s always you’re kind of as you’re cycling you’re kind of wondering what the next Temple is going to be and what the next Temple is going to look like but um going to the like along the way little hidden gems that you wouldn’t see if you just went straight to the temple
