10 VIAGENS PARA FAZER NO BRASIL EM 2024

Many people already know that Brazil is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. But if I tell you that he is much more beautiful than we think, would you believe me? Last year, we had the opportunity to discover and create content in 17 states and more than 50

Different Brazilian destinations and we can say that even though we already know that Brazil is beautiful, we were surprised by a lot of things we saw. Our country has one of the greatest biodiversity in the world, has incredible waterfalls , canyons, “Chapadas”, corals, paradisiacal beaches, caves, historic cities and much more.

In this video we will show you a little of all this, and present you with some obvious destinations and others not so much, travel options for you to do this year in our country. Hello guys, how are you?

In this video we will present 10 travel suggestions for you to take in Brazil in 2024. Here you will see tips on attractions, agencies, best times and suggestions for other nearby destinations in case you want to extend your trip.

I would like to take advantage of this beginning to say that this is not a list of the 10 most beautiful destinations in Brazil, especially because our country is huge and each person’s taste is different. The travel suggestions that appear as main options are compiled from destinations that we personally visited last year.

Some other incredible places in our Brazil we showed in the previous version we made of this video and others we haven’t had the opportunity to visit yet. If you want to leave a suggestion of places for us to visit this year, feel free to post them here in the comments.

That said, let’s start this list off right with the incredible Chapada Diamantina! Chapada Diamantina is without a doubt one of the most complete destinations in Brazil. Located in the interior of Bahia, the region has an area equivalent to 41 thousand km²

And for you to understand, this area is similar to the total size of Switzerland, and makes Chapada Diamantina larger than more than 60 countries in the world. The destination offers countless possibilities for creating your itinerary and you can plan both shorter itineraries lasting around a week

And longer itineraries lasting more than 20 days. The region can be visited at any time of the year, but the best months are from April to October, which is the dry season. We went in July right after the Saint John festivities and the cities were all decorated. We think this is amazing!

The main bases for exploring Chapada Diamantina are Lençóis, Vale do Capão and Mucugê, but there are several other places that we also know and stay in, such as the charming Rio de Contas, the curious village of Igatu with its stories related to mining

And Piatã, the highest city in northeastern Brazil, where some of the best coffee in Brazil is produced. In Diamantina, you can visit many classic attractions such as Mirante do Morro do Pai Inácio, Cachoeira da Fumaça, Fazenda Pratinha, Cachoeira do Mosquito, Cachoeira do Buracão, Poço Encantado, Gruta Lapa Doce, Gruta Torrinha

And the Marimbus Pantanal. If you want to escape the obvious, there are countless other options too, such as Pico das Almas, the Mirante do Morro do Camelo, the Águas Claras trail and the climb to Pico do Barbado, the highest peak in northeastern Brazil at 2,033 meters high in relation to sea level.

Speaking of trails, Chapada Diamantina is one of the best destinations for trail lovers in Brazil. There you can trek through Vale do Pati, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. In Vale do Pati you can truly immerse yourself in the Chapada,

Spending a few days in the middle of incredible walls and beautiful landscapes such as Mirante do Vale do Pati, Morro do Castelo and Vale do Cachoeirão. For those interested in visiting Vale do Pati, we have a discount coupon with our partner agency in Chapada Diamantina, Pedra Lascada Expedições.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that we will include the contacts and discounts of the channel’s partner agencies in the video description. Other trails we did for just one day were the Encantada waterfall, the Herculano waterfall and the Fumacinha waterfall,

Which for us was to this day the most impressive waterfall we have seen in Brazil. If you are interested in seeing everything in more detail about Chapada Diamantina, we will leave a link here on the card, the documentary we produced about the region

Where we talk more about the history of the place, the difficulty of the trails and the prices of the attractions. In fact, it’s also cool to say that we have vlogs with more details about all the destinations we’re showing in this video,

For anyone interested in checking them out later, just search for “Rolê Família + The name of the Destination you want”. Our next travel suggestion goes to the North of the country, as Amazonas has unique experiences in the world for you!

The state of Amazonas is highly sought after by people who want to discover the Amazon Rainforest, the largest tropical forest in the world and the birthplace of absurd biodiversity, but apart from the traditional jungle experiences, there are several other things to explore there.

Our recommendation is to do an itinerary of at least 7 days. The Amazon can be visited all year round, but the landscapes there change a lot depending on the season due to the effect of rain on the variation in the height of the rivers.

Between June and September, river levels rise, forming igapós, which are called flooded forests. We went in August and it was incredible. Let’s start showing the Amazon from its capital Manaus. Manaus surprised us mainly with its architecture. We found the Teatro Amazonas, one of the most beautiful buildings in our country,

Both for its exterior and interior. Apart from the Theatre, there are other very beautiful places such as Palácio Rio Negro, Palácio Rio Branco and Mercado Municipal Adolpho Lisboa. If you want to explore the cultural and historical part of Manaus, we have two suggestions:

The first is to take the river tour that passes through the curious Encontro das Águas, with a brief walk through the Amazon Rainforest and an introduction to some of the region’s indigenous communities. And the second recommendation is to visit one of the museums there,

Such as the Seringal Museum, which brings a more real perspective to what was the period of rubber extraction in Amazonas and also the Amazon Museum which is a botanical garden full of curiosities and information about the biodiversity of the Amazon.

The second destination that we recommend for you to visit in Amazonas is a place that is not so well known but that we loved visiting. Novo Airão is the main gateway to discovering the incredible Anavilhanas archipelago. Navigating through the water labyrinths of Anavilhanas is a surreal experience

And there you can take trails to see some ancient trees and see very interesting places such as the Grutas do Madadá. In Novo Airão we still had the opportunity to go to a riverside community that was full of animals and also to visit the dolphin floating,

A place where you do conservation work and interact with some free dolphins there. The third suggestion is about 2 hours from Manaus and is already a more popular destination. Presidente Figueiredo is considered the paradise of Amazon waterfalls. There are more than 150 waterfalls cataloged in the region, as well as caves, caves

And even wells with crystal clear water! We did a 3-day itinerary there, and visited many waterfalls such as Cachoeira do Mutum, Cachoeira da Pedra Furada, Cachoeira das Araras, Cachoeiras das 3 quedas and our favorite, Natal waterfall. In addition to the waterfalls, there we also visit the Gruta da Judeia, the Caverna do Maroaga

And the Lagoa Cristalina, which has crystal clear blue water. And our last suggestion in Amazonas are the jungle experiences there. There are several types of itineraries and we did a 3-day one that included several experiences such as a trail in the middle of the forest, camping in the middle of the jungle

And focusing on animals such as birds, porpoises, sloths and monkeys. Our favorite part was watching the sunrise and sunset in the middle of the Juma River. Without a doubt, they were some of the most special and beautiful of the year.

All the tours in Amazonas that we have mentioned so far were done with the Iguana Turismo agency, and for those interested, we have a 5% discount on their packages. There are also jungle experiences considered luxury in accommodations such as the famous JUMA AMAZON LODGE.

A suggestion for another destination in the North of the country if you want to extend your trip is to go to Pará to visit Alter do Chão. Alter do Chão is a village belonging to Santarém and is considered one of the most beautiful freshwater beach destinations in the world.

The best time to see the beaches is in the so-called Amazon summer, which is the season that runs from August to December. When the river level is low, you can see several so-called points. Such as Ponta do Caxambu, Ponta do Muretá, Ponta do Icuxi and Ponta de Caracaraí.

One is more beautiful than the other. In addition, there are other tours there such as a trail in the Tapajós National Forest to see the giant Kapok trees, a trip to the Jari Canal to visit a water lily farm and a boat trip in the middle of the beautiful Enchanted Forest.

Our suggestion for Alter do Chão is to stay at least 4 days. Leaving the north of the country, we head to the south, to show you a little of the wonderful canyon region. Our third travel suggestion is the combo Praia Grande in Santa Catarina and Cambará do Sul in Rio Grande do Sul.

The best time considered to visit these destinations is from April to September, with the months of June to August being those when you have less possibility of catching the sky covered by clouds.

Cambará do Sul is the place where you can enjoy two of the largest and most beautiful canyons in Brazil from above, the Itaimbezinho Canyon and the Fortaleza Canyon. In both canyons you have trail options to enjoy them from several different angles.

In the Itaimbezinho Canyon you can go to a viewpoint to see the Cachoeira das Andorinhas and in the Fortaleza Canyon you can also see the Tigre Preto Waterfall. Another recommended tour that leaves Cambará and passes through some other municipalities and attractions in the region is the water circuit.

This is a 4×4 car tour that goes to some other waterfalls in the region. Close to Cambará is Praia Grande, which is at the bottom of the mountain. This destination is considered one of the best places in Brazil to practice ballooning.

We had this experience and from the top we saw an unforgettable sunrise. From Praia Grande we took one of our favorite trails of the year, the Rio do Boi Trail, which runs for around 14km, mostly right in the middle of the imposing Itaimbezinho canyon.

Another trail there is the trail to the Piscinas do Cânion Malacara. This is calmer than the Rio do Boi trail with about 4 km round trip. The time we recommend to visit this combination of destinations is at least 5 days.

If you want to extend your trip through Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, other suggestions are: Urubici and the region, one of the most beautiful and complete mountain destinations in Brazil; Bento Gonçalves, a perfect destination for wine lovers;

The Gramado and Canela combo, cities with excellent cuisine, several attractions and very beautiful architecture; Praia do Rosa. Beach belonging to Imbituba that has already been chosen by the British newspaper The Guardian as one of the 10 most beautiful unknown beaches in the world and is one of the popular destinations in southern Brazil;

Pomerode, one of the most German cities in Brazil; Serra Furada State Park, where the popularly called Valley of the Sacred Pyramids is located; Serra do Rio do Rastro, considered one of the most beautiful and challenging roads in Brazil; The formation called Sebold Soldiers in Alfredo Wagner;

And finally, you can visit Florianópolis, the capital of Santa Catarina, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Brazil and has great attractions such as Lagoa da Conceição, Ilha do Campeche, Lagoinha do Leste, the Santo Antônio neighborhood of Lisbon, the iconic Hercílio Luz Bridge, among many others.

Moving up the map, let’s look at an excellent travel suggestion for those who like the beach. The Costa do Sol region, also known as the Lagos Region in Rio de Janeiro, has some of the most beautiful waters in Brazil. We will suggest 3 destinations that we know in this region for you:

Arraial do Cabo, Cabo Frio and Búzios. This region can be visited throughout the year, but the rainiest months are December and January, and the driest are July and August. The months of April and May are considered the best because it is not high season and because of the weather during that period.

Arraial do Cabo has some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, such as Praia do Farol and Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia. There are boat trips that take a tour of the beaches there, passing by Praia do Farol, which is located on an island .

In addition to these beaches, there are others just as beautiful, such as Praia Brava, Prainha and Praia Grande. In Praia Grande there is an attraction called Janela do Paraíso where many people go to watch the beach and take photos. Also close to the beach is the Imbetiba Shipwreck,

Which you can explore if you enjoy snorkeling. We also went to some not very well-known spots such as Praia da Graçainha, Estôro beach, Mirante da Cabocla and Ponta do Alcaíra, also known as Arubinha. Furthermore, Arraial do Cabo is the National Capital of Diving,

And can be a great place for those who want to see a little of the world underwater. Just next to Arraial is Cabo Frio. With less tourist fame, Cabo Frio was a destination that we really enjoyed visiting.

Starting with the super charming Bairro da Passagem, which has several colonial houses and many well-rated restaurants. The city has many natural attractions such as Ilha do Japonês, Praia do Peró, Praia da Conchas, Praia do Forte and Dunas do Peró, popular among sandboarders. For those who enjoy trails, two options we took were:

The Farol da Lajinha trail, which has beautiful viewpoints for Praia Brava and Ilha do Japonês, and also the Morro da Vigia Trail, a hill that divides Praia das Conchas and Peró Beach. From Cabo Frio, we go to Búzios, one of the most famous destinations in Brazil.

Búzios combines the charm of places such as Orla Bardot and Rua de Pedras with beautiful natural landscapes. There we visit several beaches such as Praia dos Amores, Praia da Ferradurinha, Praia da Azeda e Azedinha, Praia da Ferradura, Praia de Geribá and our favorites, Praia do Forno and Praia Brava.

Apart from the beaches, you can also visit the Mirante da Ponta do Pai Vitório, which is a geological fault that created this beautiful landscape. If you want to discover other destinations in the state of Rio de Janeiro, there will be no shortage of options.

The capital Rio de Janeiro itself is one of the cities in Brazil with the most options of things to do, with many trails, iconic monuments, museums, urban beaches, more deserted beaches, viewpoints, among many other things. Further south, in the Costa Verde region, there are other very interesting beach destinations such as historic Paraty

And Angra dos Reis. Aside from the beaches, 2 other great options in Rio de Janeiro are: Teresópolis, the national capital of Mountaineering. Terê gives you spectacular views like this one of Serra dos Órgãos and this one of the Dois Bicos trail.

This is a spectacular destination for those who enjoy hiking and like to eat very well. Petrópolis, the imperial city. There are beautiful buildings such as the Imperial Palace, where the Imperial Museum currently operates, the Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara, the Rio Negro Palace and the Quitandinha Palace.

From Rio de Janeiro we go to São Paulo to present to you the Alto Ribeira State Tourist Park, better known as PETAR. Petar is home to one of the largest portions of preserved Atlantic Forest in Brazil and has more than 300 cataloged caves, 12 of which are open for visitation.

The site is considered a world heritage site by UNESCO. The best time to visit the park is from April to November. Apart from the caves, in the region surrounding PETAR is the Queda do Meu Deus waterfall,

Which has already been chosen by some media outlets as the most beautiful in the state of São Paulo. But our favorite waterfall that we saw there was Cachoeira das Andorinhas, this is in the middle of the Betari Trail which is made within one of the Park’s centers called Santana.

Now talking about the caves, we only know 6 of the 12 that can be visited. One thing we liked is that all the caves had very different characteristics and speleothems and it is difficult to choose our favorite. We started at Santana Cave, then went to Morro Preto Cave, Couto Cave, Água Suja Cave,

Alambari Cave and Ouro Grosso Cave. In the latter we had the experience of entering a mini waterfall inside the cave for the first time. It is also recommended to visit the Devil’s cave. Many told us that it was worth it, but unfortunately we couldn’t go.

We recommend staying at least 4 days at PETAR to get to know a little about the region. To explore PETAR we stayed in the city of Iporanga. The two main gateways to get there are: the capital of Paraná Curitiba, which is about 3:30 away

And São Paulo, the capital, which is 5:15 minutes away. You can take advantage of your trip to PETAR to get to know some of these cities. Curitiba is a city full of free public places that are cool to visit, such as the Botanical Garden, Parque Tanguá and Parque Tingui.

Already the largest city in Brazil, São Paulo is a place full of great museums, such as the Pinacoteca, the Portuguese Language Museum and Farol Santander. In addition to them, in SP there are many options of good restaurants, bars and cafes and other popular attractions such as Parque Ibirapuera, Beco do Batman,

Bairro da Liberdade and Estação da Luz. Other suggestions for destinations that we have already visited and that remain in the state of São Paulo are: Ilhabela, a giant island with incredible waterfalls and many cool beaches such as Praia de Castelhanos and Praia do Bonete

Ubatuba, a destination with more than 100 beaches and some very beautiful islands such as Ilha das Couves and Prumirim Island. Cunha, a welcoming city that has beautiful lavender fields. And Holambra, known as the city of Flores and one of the cities with the greatest influence on Dutch immigration to Brazil.

Leaving the state of São Paulo, we’re going to the center west to talk about Chapada dos Veadeiros. Chapada dos Veadeiros is in the state of Goiás and is one of those destinations that has so many attractions that you can’t see everything in just one trip.

The main bases for exploring the attractions there are Cavalcante, Alto Paraíso de Goiás and São Jorge. Alto Paraíso is the largest and has the most commercial and accommodation facilities. São Jorge is the most alternative of all, but it also has some structure.

And Cavalcante has the least structure, but it is the closest to some of Chapada’s most sought-after attractions, such as Cachoeira Santa Bárbara. Regarding the best time, the period from April to July is considered the most appropriate to enjoy the region’s attractions.

On our visit to Chapada dos Veadeiros we tried to mix some more classic attractions with others that are not so well known. Among the most touristy, we know the Mirante da Janela which has a sensational view of Salto I and II of Rio Preto,

Vale da Lua, a place that has these very peculiar rock formations, the Segredo waterfall, Catarata dos Couros, Cachoeiras Almécegas I and Almécegas II and the previously mentioned Cachoeira Santa Bárbara. This last one was at the top of our ranking of the most beautiful waterfalls you’ve ever seen in Brazil.

Another waterfall we met there that entered our ranking was Cachoeira do Dragão, a huge waterfall of around 90 meters. To get to this waterfall you have to swim for most of the way, but in the end we were rewarded not only with the landscape of the waterfall but with a real

Show of the swallows that inhabit that place. Close to the Alto Paraíso base, we also visited the curious Cachoeira do Caracol, which is located in the Rio Caldeira complex, Cachoeira do Label, which is the largest in the state of Goiás

And Cachoeira Simão Correia, which is considered one of the most beautiful in the region. Close to the Cavalcante base are the attractions we found with the most beautiful waters we visited. It pays attention to the color of the water in this place called Complexo Boqueirão

And also in this color here in another Complex called Águas Lindas and Canjica. For those who enjoy crystal clear waters, these are excellent recommendations. Still in Cavalcante, we visit the curious formation called Ponte de Pedra.

As we said before, Chapada dos Veadeiros is one of those places that you will want to return to, and we certainly hope to return in the future to discover more incredible attractions of this destination.

Now let’s go to another destination that has waterfalls and wells with crystal clear water, but which is much less known than others we’ve already shown here. The Caparaó region, which is on the border of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, was one of the best surprises we’ve ever had.

The best time to visit Caparaó is from April to October due to less rainfall, but if you want to have more chances of having more pleasant and less cold weather to enter the crystal clear wells, our recommendation is the months of April, September and October.

We suggest staying at least 4 days to explore the region a little. Starting to talk about the wells, our favorite was Poço da Antas. It is located in the same complex as Poço da Tartaruga and Poço do Balaio.

The waters are very crystal clear but unlike the waters of Chapada dos Veadeiros, these have a greener tone. Nearby is Cachoeira do Rogério, which has been voted the most beautiful in Caparaó and also Poço do Egypt, which has easier access and equally beautiful waters.

Within the National Park, there are also other incredible attractions, such as Vale Verde and Vale Encantado. The Caparaó region is also known for producing some of the best coffee in Brazil and it is worth visiting one of the region’s many coffee farms.

The highlight of our visit to Caparaó was the climb to Pico da Bandeira. Pico da Bandeira is the third highest peak in Brazil with 2892 meters above sea level. With the Guia Pico da Bandeira agency, we took the trail on the Minas Gerais side and went up there to see an unforgettable sunrise

With this sensational sea of clouds. This moment was without a doubt one of our favorites of the year and it was worth all the effort to get there. If you want to extend your trip, not far from Caparaó, we know two more destinations in Espírito Santo. First, Pedra Azul,

A tourist destination that belongs to the city of Domingos Martins. In Pedra Azul is the famous Rota do Lagarto, known as one of the most charming and romantic in the region. There you will find great restaurants, cafes, crafts, high-standard accommodation and incredible landscapes of the State Park.

A little further from Caparaó, there are the incredible and very little known Pontões Capixabas. To explore the Pontões we went to the small town called Pancas. There we got to know some of these gigantic granite stones up close, such as Pedra da Agulha, Pedra do Camelo and Pedra do Operário.

The eighth trip we will suggest in this video is the Costa dos Corais. Place that houses some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. The Costa dos Corais covers around 120km of beaches and mangroves and is located in the states of Pernambuco and Alagoas,

More precisely between the municipality of Tamandaré in Pernambuco and the capital of Alagoas, Maceió. The Coral Coast is great for taking a road trip, stopping at several destinations along the way. The best time to visit this region is from October to January.

The chance of rain is lower and the sea tends to be more crystal clear. We recommend at least 10 days to explore a little of the region, but you can stay much longer if you can afford it. So let’s show you a little of what we explored there and recommend to you.

Starting with Maceió. In our opinion, the capital of Alagoas has one of the most beautiful coastlines in Brazil. You can walk along it and visit Pajuçara, Ponta Verde and Jatiúca, which are the best known urban beaches there. On the south coast of Maceió, you can visit beaches in nearby cities.

Like Praia do Francês, Praia da Barra de São Miguel and the famous Praia do Gunga. In the latter you can take a buggy ride to the Falésias do Gunga and climb the also well-known Panoramic Viewpoint. On the north coast, there are other beaches such as Ipioca. Heading north, we also have

Carro Quebrado beach and its beautiful cliffs. Then we arrive at the Ecological Route of Miracles that goes from the city of Passo de Camaragibe to Porto de Pedras. This route is full of paradisiacal beaches such as Praia do Marceneiro, Praia do Patacho and Praia de Tatuamunha.

There you can visit several natural pools such as Toque, Milagres and Patacho Another cool trip is to visit the Peixe Boi Association There you can have an encounter with these incredible animals in the middle of the Tatuamunha river. Following the route, we go to Japaratinga and Maragogi.

Japaratinga is less known and quieter than Maragogi. There is the beautiful Croa de São Bento. Maragogi is now a much more famous destination, and the main highlight there are the natural pools that form at low tide. In addition to them, you can visit beautiful beaches such as Praia de Antunes

And walk on the Caminho de Moisés, which is a very extensive sandbank that also forms at low tide. From Maragogi we go to Tamandaré. Tamandaré is a well-known destination for the famous Carneiros Beach, where the charming São Benedito Chapel is located. But in addition, we recommend visiting the historic Forte de Tamandaré

And also the natural pools there, which were one of the most beautiful and crystal clear we have seen. Close to Tamandaré, it is possible to visit other destinations that are outside the Costa dos Corais, such as Santo Aleixo Island, which belongs to the municipality of Sirinhaém,

And Porto de Galinhas, which is very popular for its beaches with beautiful natural pools and some of the best seaside resorts in Brazil. In addition to these places on the Costa dos Corais and nearby areas, other destinations that we know of in Pernambuco and Alagoas that are further away and worth recommending are:

Vale do Catimbau, a surprising destination in the interior of Pernambuco with some of the largest cave paintings in Brazil and landscapes absurdities like this one in Chapadão and this one in Santuário. The charming Piranhas in Alagoas.

City that is located on the banks of the São Francisco River, right on the border with Sergipe and has a very beautiful and preserved historic center. From there, you can take a tour to discover the incredible Xingó Canyons. And finally, in Pernambuco but far from the coast is Fernando de Noronha,

One of the most famous destinations in Brazil. The archipelago is one of the most beautiful places in the world with its mix of crystal clear waters, surreal rock formations and abundant marine life. For anyone interested, we will leave a complete guide on the card with more information about Noronha,

Including tips on how to save money on a possible trip there. And to finish off the Chapadas in this video, we’re going to Maranhão to introduce you to Chapada das Mesas. Chapada das Mesas is one of the destinations that we believe will grow a lot in a few years!

She surprised us with some of the most beautiful landscapes in Brazil and an incredible variety of attractions such as hills, waterfalls, wells with crystal clear water and much more! The best time to visit Chapada das Mesas is from June to December, which is considered the dry period.

We recommend booking a package of at least 4 days to discover the destination’s main attractions. We created our itinerary with the Panorama Expedições agency. For those who are interested, we will leave you in touch with the Rolê Família discount in the video description.

The main base for exploring Chapada das Mesas is the city of Carolina, but agencies’ itineraries usually include some other cities such as Riachão. Here are some attractions that we visited during our visit there: O Poço Azul; Santa Bárbara Waterfall; The Blue Enchantment; The Sanctuary Waterfall; Timbira Hill; Talho Waterfall; The Chapada Portal;

Cachoeira do Prata; The Enchanted Stone; The São Romão Waterfall; And Morro do Chapéu, which is the main postcard there. Of all these attractions, we want to highlight Poço Azul and Encanto Azul , which are among the attractions with the most beautiful waters that we visited last year.

In addition to them, it is worth mentioning Cachoeira do Santuário, which is one of those places that only go there in person to understand its real beauty! There are many people who combine their visit to Chapada das Mesas with two other incredible destinations that are not so close,

But that are possible to do on the same trip. Still in Maranhão, you can visit Lençóis Maranhenses, which is without a doubt one of the most spectacular and unique places in the world. And in Tocantins, but closer to Carolina than the base of Lençóis, it is possible to visit Jalapão,

Which has incredible boiling waters, the famous Jalapão dunes and Cachoeira do Formiga, which is one of the most beautiful in the country. And since we started the video with a region of Bahia, our last travel suggestion is also in this state.

The so-called southern coast of Bahia was the region of Brazil we stayed in the most last year and we were simply in love. This region can be visited throughout the year, but to make the most of it, we recommend the months of April, May, August and September.

In these months the temperature tends to be very pleasant and places are generally not as crowded and with high season prices. The south of Bahia is another great place to take a road trip and explore different corners. It is possible to make several combinations between the destinations we will show here

And we recommend at least a week to make yours. Starting from the southernmost location we know. Prado is the city where the Cumuraxatiba district is located, home to beautiful beaches such as Praia da Barra do Cahy, Praia do Moreira, Praia de Imbasuaba and Praia Japara Grande.

Outside of Cumuruxatiba, in the center of Prado is Beco das Garrafas, one of the most charming gastronomic centers in Bahia and to the south is Guaratiba, a much quieter beach. Another suggestion that we don’t know about yet is to go even further south of Prado

To the city of Caravelas, to take an expedition to the Abrolhos archipelago. After Prado, we will show here several destinations that belong to the municipality of Porto Seguro, but which have their own tourist reputation. Starting with Caraíva. The village of Caraíva is one of the most delightful destinations on the sand in Brazil.

The best way to get to know it is to wander around aimlessly among the charming, colorful colonial-style houses. Next to the houses is Praia da Barra do Rio Caraíva, which is a great place to spend the day and watch the sunset. From Caraíva you can take trips to visit Praia do Satu

And Ponta do Corumbau. After Caraíva, we go to Trancoso. If we talk about Trancoso, we need to talk about Quadrado de Trancoso. The square is the heart of it and is where its main restaurants, shops, accommodation and the charming little church of São João Batista are located.

Near Quadrado are Praia dos Nativos and Praia dos Coqueiros, but our favorites that we discovered nearby were Praia do Rio da Barra and Praia do Espelho, which is already a constant on the list of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. . Just outside Trancoso is Arraial d’Ajuda,

Arraial is a destination that has beautiful beaches with cliffs such as Praia do Taípe, Praia da Pitinga and Praia da Lagoa Azul. Arraial also has a very pretty little center with little colonial houses, the Matriz Nossa Senhora d’Ajuda church and Mirante das Fitinhas, which is one of the most beautiful in the region.

The headquarters district of Porto Seguro is well known for its seaside resorts and its historic center, which is one of the most important and oldest in Brazil. Another historic center worth visiting is Santa Cruz Cabrália, which is the neighboring municipality of Porto Seguro.

In Cabrália, there is also Praia da Coroa Vermelha, which was the place where the Portuguese held their first mass on Brazilian soil. Going further up the map we have Ilhéus, Ilhéus is known for being the stage for the stories of the writer Jorge Amado and for its connection with the production of Cocoa.

And to finish off the tips for this southern region of Bahia, we go to Itacaré. Itacaré was one of the beach destinations we most enjoyed visiting this year. Most of the beaches you have to take a small trail to get to and when you arrive you will find beaches with

Practically intact nature and lots of people in the water surfing. Our favorites were Prainha, Praia do Hawaizinho, Praia de Jeribucaçu and Praia da Engenhoca. In Itacaré, be sure to see a sunset at Ponta do Xaréu and take the 4 beaches trail that passes through Itacarézinho, Camboinha, Hawaizinho and Engenhoca.

Closer to Salvador, two other suggestions for paradisiacal destinations on the Bahian coast that you can visit are: Ilha de Boipeba, a place with enchanting beaches such as Praia de Moreré, from where tours leave to discover the natural pools of Moreré, Praia da Cueira , Praia das Amendoeiras and Praia de Castelhanos.

The second suggestion is the famous village of Morro de São Paulo. Located on the Island of Tinharé, Morro has an excellent structure to receive tourists with several accommodations and restaurants. The beaches there are called 1st beach, 2nd beach, 3rd beach, 4th beach and 5th beach. Our favorite of all was the 4th beach.

And these were the tips for 10 trips for you to take in Brazil in 2024. If you want to help our project and content production further, there are two ways to do this. One of them is to use discount coupons from our partners that we will leave in the video description.

We have discounts for several of the destinations we show here such as Amazonas, Vale do Pati, Ilhabela, Arraial do Cabo, Teresópolis PETAR, among others. I highlight here the discounts of R$ 100 per person for expeditions to Jalapão with Nativos Jalapão and to Chapada das Mesas with Panorama Expedições.

In addition to these, we have discounts for other locations that did not appear in this video, such as Serra da Canastra, Guarapari and Espírito Santo. Another discount we have that is very worthwhile is R$150 per person for an expedition to climb Mount Roraima with the Clube Native agency.

Mount Roraima did not make the list because only 5% of its territory is in Brazil, but without a doubt it was the biggest adventure we did last year. It is a destination that is very worthwhile, especially for those who enjoy trails and mountains.

The experience lasts 7 days and you will see absurd landscapes like this one from Mirante La Ventana, this one from Mirante do Abismo, this one from Fenda and this one from Mirante do Urupere. In Monte there are also places that don’t even seem real like the Jacuzzis, the Valley of the Crystals

And El Fosso. If you want to see more details about Mount Roraima, we have released a documentary about our experience there that we will leave linked here on the card. And for those who want to help our project even more, we launched an e-book with a compilation of tips on well-rated restaurants, accommodation,

Itineraries, among other things from all the places that were on the list in this video. Its value is only R$39.90. Link to purchase in the description. And that’s it guys, for those who liked the video and liked the tips, subscribe to the channel

And do those 3 things with C that everyone asks for: like, share and comment and see you on our next Rolê Família, bye-bye.

  3. Que seleção maravilhosa! A gente acaba viajando junto! Alguns dos destinos que apresentaram não faziam parte da minha lista de desejos, como Petar, e fiquei bem interessada.
