Oyomuso Shrine Oyomuso Shrine, located in Fukiage-cho, Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture , is a shrine where legend has it that, in ancient times, it was the place where the grandson of the gods, Qionqiongiko, stayed for a while.

The main deity is Okuninushi no Mikoto, the god who governs the development of the country and the prosperity of industry. Benefits include warding off evil spirits, good luck, prosperous business, and family safety.

There is a large camphor tree on the grounds that is over 1000 years old and is the symbol of the shrine. There are couple ginkgo trees in the precincts, which are worshiped as gods of child-bearing and safe childbirth.

There is a sakaki tree in the precincts, which is worshiped as the god of good matches and family harmony. An annual festival is held on November 23rd every year, and many worshipers visit.

Oyomu Saya Shrine is located near Fukiage Beach, and there is a custom of dedicating sand from Fukiage Beach to the New Year’s visit. Oyo Mu Saya Shrine is an attractive shrine that combines history and nature. Why not visit Ogomuji Shrine once and feel the power of God?

この神社には驚きましたね。

この日最後の神社だったんですが、想像よりもきれいできれいで。
撮影が悪く、その半分も伝わらないような気がしています。

あれほど興奮しながら撮影したのに。
社務所の恐らく宮司さんの奥様に「全部撮影していますね」と
驚かれたのに（笑）

100万歩譲って、鎮守の森だけはそこそこきれいに撮影できていると
思うの我慢して動画を公開することにしたんです。

また半年とか、1年後とか嫌ですからね。

まぁ、主な動画配信者は来ないでしょうけど
本には載っていないしね。

自分の足とグーグルマップで探さないとそう簡単には見つからないしね。

ちなみに私が参拝している時に
地元鹿児島の旅行会社の方がツアーコースに組み込みたいと言って
来られていましたよ。

バスガイドさんの間ではパワースポットとして有名らしいです。
