Tuna sea urchin salmon green onions grilled Engawa salmon roe roll Super yummy! Hananoyu Came to a local onsen and sauna spa. It only cost 120 yen extra to use sauna. It snows outside but I was craving for 🍦 soft ice cream 380 yen Milk is from Hokkaido and it tasted very rich.

Day2 Hachiman Zaka Slope This is the iconic view of Hakodate. Motomachi Park Here’s Seibu area, mixture of western and Japanese culture. Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward Here’s important cultural property built in 1910. Let’s check 2nd floor. This hall was the biggest room and I loved it.

I felt like I was in a different country. With this ticket, you can try 2 places at this area. Former British Consultate of Hakodate The exhibition started from 2nd floor. I love retro things like this. It took a lot of time to read all information here. Old map of Hakodate, and foreign countries.

Vintage brooch 1485 yen All the places were within walking distance. Hakodate Orthdox Church This building is also important cultural property. Sadly inside was not open when I visited. However, the view from here was beautiful. Catholic Church Motomachi This is a gothic architectural style church. Photos are not allowed inside main hall.

It’s time for lunch. Lucky Pierot Jujigai Ginza branch Lucky Pierrot is a local hunger shop. Each shop has each theme. and theme here is Christmas! I ordered their most popular food. popularity No.1 set 968 yen This is named as Chinese chicken burger…?! French fries with cheese, white sauce, and demi-glace sauce.

This is iced oolong tea. Sourness of sauce and sweet and spicy chicken go perfectly! I personally preferred this French fries to the hamburger. We took rest until night time. Mt.Hakodate Ropeway – Mountain Base Station round trip ticket 1800 yen When you come to Hakodate, night view is a must!

It took about 3 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. Day3 Goryokaku Tower We came here to check souvenirs on the 1st floor. I love this bird “Shimaenaga” that mainly lives in Hokkaido. Lots of “Shimaenaga” things are here…! The star is shape of a park, Goryokaku. They even had bath products.

I couldn’t understand what this was… Menchuubo Ajisai Main Brunch This salt ramen shop is very popular and in front of Goryokaku tower. Salt ramen 2/3 680 yen Flavor is very simple. but somehow very addictive at the same time. Came back to an area right next to Hakodate station. Hakodate Uni Murakami

I heard sea urchin here is super good! What to eat… 3 colored rice bowl (small) 3850 yen It came with pickles and all you can drink miso soup. rice porridge 2420 yen I felt the sweetness of sea urchin, super good! Hakodate Morning Market Square When you come here at 2pm…

I saw fresh sea food, souvenirs, and squid snacks. Someone was eating Hokkaido melon here ! Next is Kanemori red brick warehouse area. Kyuchaya Tei Here you can get matcha and Japanese sweets 🍵 They let you choose which matcha tea bowl to use. I learn tea ceremony in Tokyo.

I was so surprised how quick she made matcha. matcha set 1230 yen How cute… The design is some church in Hakodate. Cutest Christmas tree Japanese sweets ever! They also served homemade sherbet. Kanamori Red Brick Warehouse There was a limited shop. There was a limited event from JRA 🐴 Magical window looked from inside.

Finally met my friend who lives in Hakodate. projection mapping running horse in the smoke fireworks The tree with 150000 lights were speechless. We enjoyed walking around. 👩🏻What is it? bird? Walked to Hakodate station. I feel in love at first sight with this capsule toy. We took tram to a next spot.

Hi everyone, I know it’s late but happy holidays! This vlog is about winter travel in Hakodate, Hokkaido.
Hakodate is Southern west part of Hokkaido and it’s famous for delicious food and mixed culture of Japanese and western.As some of you already know, I am a foodie so Hakodate is one of my most favorite places to visit in Japan!

And as I went there in some December before Christmas, I was able to join Christmas event at Kanemori red brick warehouse 🎄
The tree and the vibes were speechless. If you have a chance to visit Japan next winter, you must come visit !
