【Japan vlog】SUB) Onomichi, Hiroshima ｜Temples ｜Walking tour ｜尾道お寺巡り｜猫の細道

I went to Onomichi, Hiroshima with my friend! It takes 2 hours by train so I chose Shinkansen. We’re going to stay together and sightseeing next day. My friend is coming from Osaka area. We’re going to get pastries for breakfast. They all look so good 😍

We’re going to eat on rooftop deck! It was so good! I missed Japanese pastries 🥰 It’s time to walk around! Onomichi is known for temples, steep hill and stairs. We’re heading to Senkoji Temple. Onomichi is very beautiful in Springtime with the cherry blossoms 🌸

There are some housing along these stairs. Imagine these stairs every day! You can take gondola instead. Japanese orange osmanthus season! Smells so lovely 🧡 She is trying to smell the flower 😂 You can meet cats everywhere. Senkoji Temple Last stairs!! We arrived! So tired! So good view!

We decided to do this training for going up with the chains! This cat has injuries on the ears 😢 We came to “Neko no hosomichi” ( Cat Alley) There is cafe and wall art of cats.

You can find fukuishi neko ( stone art of cat) and it is believed to receive good fortune if you stroke it 3 times. First fukuishi neko These art is used by crack which also means watch your step and walk carefully. We couldn’t see any cats there.

I thought it was real! Are the big straw slippers up there? It’s not here. We are at Saikokuji Temple. We found something wanted to see! These big straw slippers at the Niomon Gate are prayers for healthy legs offered to the Nio temple guardians, known for their strong legs.

I’m trying to show you how big those are 😂 It didn’t work 😂🙄 One of Onomichi’s three famous pine trees. About 400 years old. “ Washi no Matsu” means Eagle pine. Hiroshima is the largest lemon production in Japan. These lemon cakes are so good 😋

So good to have lemon soda after walks! We’re going to get donuts. We met in US as roommates. I’m so glad we had trip together in Japan 💓 This chocolate ice cream was amazingly good! Did you like Onomichi trip? I want to ride Shinkansen as much as possible 😁
