“This is a ‘puka’ on the big Island of Hawaii. It is a lava tube which ends out in the water. The tide pushes water through the tube and out of the skylight on shore. I stood in the water, in front of the hole, as water surged through the opening and then receded back out to sea. Sometimes the water would get too high, so I would lift my precious Canon camera up over my head quickly to avoid contact with sea water. It is a wonderful place to shoot!!” #MyCanonStory
