This video starts on the bridge over Motoyasu River next to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Atomic Bomb Dome can be seen straight ahead from there and we are walking around in the major shopping area next it. Our goal is Hiroshima Castle.

  2. I am from Hiroshima.

Right now Hiroshima City is undergoing redevelopment.

Hiroshima station and the area near it will be renewed with construction work

(Scheduled to be completed in 2025.)

  3. Hiroshima is really beautiful. I love every single spot in your video. I enjoyed this walking tour video 🥰🥰

  4. Such a beautiful city.
    It’s sad what happened.
My grandfather was in the pacific WW2 in the Navy he survived the war.
The one thing he shared with me was how afraid they all were of the kamikaze pilots he was a bad alcoholic and obviously had PTSD.
I hope the old man talking to the school children wasn’t spreading hatred towards Americans.
Lord knows, I heard enough of don’t ever buy anything German or Japanese from my grandfather until he passed away.
Thankfully, all the ugly and hatefulness has passed with that generation.
Thank you for sharing your walk it’s very humbling and hopefully people will be more kind to one another.

  5. Been nice to see a sunset 🌆 walk around the park to. But more than one school 🏫 group’s mainly elementary age kids including the ones wearing the red baseball cap 🧢 that’s a big group glad they are learning real history in school 🏫 and able to visit in person to. Other schools 🏫 from elementary to 1st year college ages need to do the same then go to Kyoto for festivals or on the holidays. Any unusual vending machines you come across show them to. Saw tourists without masks 😷 to . 🇧🇱⛩️📱🙏.

  6. Very nice!!! I was supposed to go to Hiroshima last week but my flight got cancelled so I had to shorten my trip to Japan. Hiroshima Castle is beautiful and your video made me want to go see it next time! You rock!!

  7. 10:22, the statue of the young girl Sadako Sasaki. A very sad story, but at the same time strangely beautiful and touching. Good to see that today's children are still involved. Yeah, hate to say it, but this world is by no means peaceful. Respect and prayers for all the victims and all the people of Hiroshima. 💚

  8. what a wonderful city!! You can walk through a world heritage memorial museum, a modern and huge shopping street, and an ancient castle within an hour of walking distance

  10. Im surprised how there is no noise pollution, no horns , no crowd and traffic on the roads even during the day too! Its very quiet and peaceful ! A city you would want to live in!

  11. Japan looks smoothly cool. Yet again in 1945 this bomb has been dropped by the meme state USA which hosted Ohio has killed over.. 1 BILLION PEOPLE ON HIROSHIMA. Or maybe just 10 million.
