Japan is one of the best known countries for hot springs.
In Japan alone, there are more than 27,000 hot spring sources and around 3,000 accommodations for them.
Today I’m going to introduce two, one of a kind hot spring resorts in the very south of Japan : Yufuin and Beppu.
Maybe many of you have never heard of Yufuin and Beppu because they are far away from other major tourist spots, but there are a lot of unique hot springs that you can only experience here, such as sand baths and jigoku (hell) host springs.

Did the town smell like sulfur? Here in the USA, hot springs always have that smell….Looks like an amazing place!!
