The central motif of La Collection Memento No.3 is directly inspired by “Le Rêve”, a painting by post-impressionist painter, Henri Rousseau. “Le Douanier” Rousseau’s shimmering vision of the jungle was sparked by his days spent observing and dreaming in the famous Jardin des Plantes, a botanical marvel housed in the French National Museum of Natural History, in Paris.
