●東京プリンスホテル
1964年10月10日に開催される東京オリンピックに合わせて徳川家霊廟跡に同年9月1日に開業。同時に開業した地階のショッピングアーケード「PISA」（Prince International Shopping Arcade）は海外の一流品を集めた高級セレクトショップ兼ブティックとして当時、銀座のサン・モトヤマと並んで人気を博しました。
●Tokyo Prince Hotel
It starts a business to the Tokugawas mausoleum trace to the Tokyo Olympics held on October 10, 1964 on September 1, the same year. Shopping arcade “PISA” of the basement which started a business at the same time (Prince International Shopping Arcade) won popularity along with sun Motoyama of Ginza as the high quality select shop which collected overseas blue chips and a boutique in those days.

東京都内には既に高輪プリンスホテル（現グランドプリンスホテル高輪）や赤坂プリンスホテル（後のグランドプリンスホテル赤坂、2011年閉館）等が営業しており、開業前は芝公園に位置することから「芝プリンスホテル」の名称も考えられていましたが、社内では「芝ではインパクトが足りない」との意見が出ており、東京オリンピック直前の開業だったこともあり、当ホテルが「東京」を名乗る事になりました。

ブランド再編以前は全てのプリンスホテルの中でも序列1位でした。ザ・プリンス パークタワー東京が隣接して開業してからは上級ビジネスホテルとしての位置づけとなりましたが、現在でも「プリンスホテル」ブランドの中では筆頭格である品川プリンスホテルより先行して序列1位となります。また、12月のディナーショーの会場としても有名です。
Takanawa Prince Hotel (existing ground Prince Hotel Takanawa) or Akasaka Prince Hotel (Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka in the back, 2011 closing) are already open in Tokyo, and the name of “turf Prince Hotel” was thought about because it is located in Shibakoen before the opening of business, but an opinion, “I lack an impact with the turf” in the office appears and has been the opening of business just before the Tokyo Olympics, and our hotel will give its “Tokyo”.

グランドプリンスホテル高輪同様、2016年4月より1年間、改装のために休業し、2017年4月1日にリニューアルオープンしました。
As well as grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, I was closed for remodeling for one year from April, 2016 and was reopened on April 1, 2017.
