I shot this on the Canon EOS R6 with the RF15-35mm F2.8L IS USM. As a portrait photographer who loves long lenses, it was really out of my comfort zone to use a wide-angle lens instead. After using it for 2 days, I fell in love with it and had to have one of my own. I’m excited to say the RF15-35mm F2.8L IS USM now has a place in my camera bag and I look forward to working with it more in the future.
After 30 years as a professional photographer and instructor, being a student allows me the opportunity to step outside of my wheelhouse and try things I wouldn’t normally shoot. My philosophy is to never stop learning and to continue to push myself to try new things. I love this image and how this lens made the concept come to life.”
