Sometimes accents of color and mere hints of context can be more charming than a frame that includes everything that you see. In this scene, I could have zoomed out to include more of the trees and bridge, but that view would add a lot of distracting bright sky at the top of the scene as well. By showing only accents of color and part of the bridge, this framing emphasizes the idea of various elements spanning the creek in unison. The color enlivens the scene and becomes the star of the show without having to compete with the bridge or sky.”
