“I just love the RF lens lineup that I use and am happy to have so many options at my disposal. I’m primarily a Canon EOS R5 shooter and use the EOS R as a backup body and for all my BTS stuff.
These days I’m shooting everything that comes my way, so having a wide range of lenses to choose from has proven itself invaluable. Starting with the ability to open up to f/1.2 on a few of them is just incredible. The glass is impeccable and the sharpness can’t be beat. I’m a fan of the RF50mm F1.2 L USM and RF85mm F1.2 L USM DS for that reason, but I can also get to f/2.0 on my RF28-70mm F2 L USM, which is crazy good. My go to really is the RF70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM and it’s a workhorse for me. Doesn’t leave my body often if at all during my headshot sessions.
I really feel like my work is looking its best right now as a result of the gear that Canon has done such an incredible job producing. I’m super confident at each shoot knowing that the images are going to look pristine right out of the camera. It gets me excited when I start a new session with a client and allows me to wow them every time!”
