“It’s that time of year again as I am headed into my 25th season with the San Francisco 49ers. So, sports fans get ready as it will be another fantastic season and I cannot wait to get started again.
I am lucky to have a good amount of gear that I would like to share with you, so here is what’s in my camera bag heading into this season. I have to create images outside of game action for marketing, partnerships, sales, ownership, stadium, and the list goes on.
I will normally cover games with 4-5 camera bodies and 7-8 lenses. I am in the transition phase of converting over from SLR to mirrorless. I was able to add the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 into my workflow last season. I was very impressed with how both performed all year. The image quality and speed was excellent and once I get my hands on the new EOS R3, I know the speed will be the best in the industry.
