Photo by #CanonExplorerOfLight @ladzinski: “Becoming an Explorer of Light is a dream come true, to be among a group of legendary photographers is such a great honor. Being a photographer has led me to see the world and meet unique people. There’s no greater playground for creative experimentation and refinement than working with a camera. It’s been the greatest joy of my life.

Seeing stormy skies over the lowlands of the Colorado Plateau is always a special sight, it’s a place that receives about 10 inches of rain annually and is more often than not baking in the heat under cloudless skies. I had scouted this location the day before and knew that I wanted to strobe this interesting feature here at sunset. The dark clouds were an unexpected gift and really brought a lot of drama to the scene. This photo was taken with the Canon EOS R5, RF15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM and 4 Speedlite EL-1 flashes to light the landscape.”

Ciao, Nihon.
