Photo by @jgroepper: “Every year I try to make it up to this park to photograph this barred owl pair and the owlets that they raise. Last year, they raised four chicks and this year they are raising two. It is so entertaining to see the owlets try and learn to successfully navigate their environment. Fortunately for me they perched on this tree in the middle of the park together and I was able to get some photos before mom called to let them know she had caught them some dinner. I think I have photographed them for over four years.” #ShotOnCanon
