We were alone on the beach as the colors in the sky changed, my husband fishing as I photographed the waves. Not long after we got there I saw something down the beach, a figure in the mist, a lone wild pony. I changed my lens as quickly as possible and started photographing before it disappeared. Instead, rather than running from us the pony walked closer until it stopped, just barely fitting in my frame at 100mm. Then it was gone. The moment so fleeting and yet so remarkable.” #ShotOnCanon
