I found this patch and committed to a composition that I hoped would work with the sunset. My angle to the sunset was not ideal, but I held out hope that the skies above the blooms would light up.
I fired away, 3 shot focus stacks, for an hour and a half, through the explosion of color at sunset. Ultimately, I preferred this image with the mountain and the skies lit up.” #ShotOnCanon
