The groom, they were only friends at the time, stayed by her side every step of the way through her recovery. Over time they fell in love. Out of great tragedy, a great love was born. Now they are celebrating life together and have their first baby. Miracles do happen! I wanted to convey their spiritual belief with an artist twist. Using lighting and long exposure to light paint a halo and wings surrounding the bride and groom. The Canon EOS R was on a tripod in Bulb mode, using a remote control, I opened the shutter while painting with light. I used a flashlight inside a fluorescent light protection tube found at your local home improvement store. Working quickly to get the couple back to their reception. We did about three or four exposures before capturing this photograph in-camera.”
