Midnight at the volcano. Hey, @thrainnko with you again from the volcanic eruption in
Iceland. It was a cold evening, a few days after the eruption had started, when we decided
to stick around until it was dark. After midnight it began to snow, which turned dark red
from the vivid glow from the fresh lava flowing around the entire valley. Standing so close to
an erupting volcano in complete darkness has to be one of my most unique experiences.
Add some snowfall and it‘s even more surreal.
