“I love the power of photography to tell a story. For this fashion editorial I was highlighting the talents of my creative team — my makeup artist painted the canvas and then my wardrobe stylist found looks to mimic in the frame. I loved the ‘art imitating art’ approach to this shot. I used 3 hand painted canvas backgrounds to create the width I needed to fit the entire scene, and a wider angle lens to capture all of the narrative details.”
