THURSDAY TIGERS
Meet Rewa, a sign of hope for tigers in Bhutan.
Rewa lives in the Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park. A female tiger, her name means ‘hope’ in the Dzongkha language of Bhutan. In 2012, she was spotted through camera traps looking frail and thin… however, 7 years later in 2019, she was spotted with 4 new female cubs! Rewa symbolizes the impact of the tiger conservation efforts in Bhutan.
