I went to this location (a bridge about an hour from my house) on six different occasions to make this piece. The first five times I got an image, but not the one that existed in my mind. However, I learned and planned how I would improve the next time and tried my hardest to implement those changes. While I wanted to shoot this train at 35mm, at the end of the day 28mm on the RF 28-70mm F2 L USM felt more immersive and proved to be the solution I needed.”
