The hotels location is beautifully unique but more interesting is the highly impactful ways the owners return dividends to the local community via their foundation, and provide a platform for guests to contribute to the betterment of local schools in Negril. Since its inception in 2003, the Rockhouse Foundation has raised over two million dollars for renovating schools, providing children with healthy lunches, building and renovating the local library, sponsoring and setting up computer labs, and establishing a number of Early Childhood Education resources for the local schools.
